SUCH a good experience. We have come to Myrtle Beach every summer to the same spot for 13 years and watched Jack's Surf Lessons Instructors work with clients and they always were so encouraging and really taught and helped the clients. Well my family finally got to BE the clients now that the kids were older (8, 11, 13) and Kevin and Em were so amazing! They explained things really well before hitting the water, and even with a crazy undercurrent and wicked waves, all three kids and my husband got up on the board to ride it in. SO many smiles and high fives! I was very impressed and everyone is already asking to do it again next year, but for longer than an hour this time!
My granddaughter had a wonderful time surfing. She was riding the waves all the way to shore. Kevin is an amazing instructor! His enthusiasm for surf inspired my granddaughter to love the ocean and surfing even more than she did before. I highly recommend taking surfing lessons from Jack's.

My kids age 8 and 5 had their first Surf lessons and were both standing up on the board and riding waves quickly. All of the instructors were just incredible and passionate at what they do (Thank you Jennie, Kevin and Paige!) My son was recovering from a wrist fracture, and they constantly checked in on how his wrist was and adjusting if needed. I highly recommend the private lessons, so worth the extra $'s, especially for young children. My kids are hooked.
Me and my God Daughter decided to take the “plunge” and do something outta the norm being from Ohio! Surfing lessons, we met Kev n Maria the instructors and we had two other ppl in our group. WOW….. it was a blast. Me being 65 n my God Daughter being 25 we took it head on. She picked it up in 3 tries and the team was ecstatic as well as the ppl on the beach. Idk we were part of the entertainment that day. I on the other hand not so well but it wasn’t for the lack of encouragement from the team! They had our back, totally felt safe and the experience when you finally stand n make it to shore. Deff a must try ppl. They want you to succeed but w/o jeopardizing your safety and comfort zone. They’re very attentive to this 💯💯. Enjoy life, take the “ plunge” with a new adventure even if you’ll nvr surf again. It’s the memories 💯💯. I did a 2 hour surf lesson with my niece. We were both able to get up and we had a great time. The teachers were very encouraging and helpful.
Maria is wonderful! She is at peace on a board in the water. She loves kids and connects with them effortlessly, making them more comfortable as they learn to surf!!!🏄🏽♀️
