View on Google MapsGreat safari, went for 3 days and seen 4 out of the big 5! Budget friendly & everyone involved in my trip was great. Staff at fig tree lodge were super nice, my guides Justin & Adrian were great, super friendly and informative, they made the experience very fun! Hudhaifa and francis my drivers also amazing people and made me feel super safe and informed about my travels & Arusha as an area
This was definitely on of the best experiences I have ever had. We had no issue with the organization and then we spent amazing days in the Seregenti and Ngorongoro crater. Eli was the star of the trip: he was making the impossible for us to have the best experience and see as much as possible, obviously that nature allowed. I recommend 1000% the people, the food, the experiences , the laughters, it was all and all the best adventure!
One of the greatest experiences I ever had. We did a safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro reserve with the nights camping. It takes you deep into the heart of the Serengeti and the crater, showing you absolutely unique places of this earth. The animals I had previously only seen on a screen were all present in their natural habitat. But even more impressive to me were the landscape itself. The endless plains of the Serengeti feel like an unreal place from a different planet. The dry land seems impossible to host any life - but incredibly there are animals all around. We went at the end of the busy season and experienced no waiting times or crowded places. All in all, major recommendation to anyone. For the staff: Humphrey did an outstanding job to help us with the entire organisation. Keep in mind that life is more relaxed and informal here than in many western countries. For example, we paid our entire trip in cash and upfront without much of a receive. No problem. We also saw the traffic being more vibes based than back home, so we were really happy to have such a chill and efficient driver as Elii. As our guide, he also managed to not only show us the wildlife we were hoping for but could also provide in depths Insights for all of them. He also is just a really fun and enthusiastic guy to have around - always up for a joke and caring to help you with any problem you might encounter. He does need to improve his card playing skills at night at the campsite tho. Lastly, Halid was our chef, an absolut master of his craft. Very delicious and always plenty of it. He as well is up for joke or two when you least expect it. I couldn’t have imagined a better crew.

A 100% recommended experience that you will remember all your life. I really enjoyed visiting a different park every day, as it allows you to see different environments and animals. Every day we had a different guide, all of them great. They care that the visit is unforgettable and that they see as many animals as possible in a respectful manner. During the tour they explain a lot of things about the fauna of the place and try to answer any questions you may have. The lodge we stayed at (Marera Valley) is wonderful, I totally recommend it.
Humphrey and his agency Cubs Expeditions have provided us with unsurpassed service. Before the trip to Tanzania, he helped us define the safari; every change we mentioned was quickly resolved, and his entire service was very professional and friendly, even though he was in Tanzania and we were in Bilbao, Spain. A 10 for Humphrey. Regarding the driver from the airport to our hotel in Arusha everything went well. About the English-speaking guide/driver for Arusha, Hasam was wonderful. He took us in the van to the sites we were visiting, took us up to see the views of Mount Meru, the food market, the Masai cultural heritage, we ate at a very nice place, and he dropped us off at the hotel. About the Spanish-speaking guide and Safari driver, Samuel is an incredible person, and his 24-hour service was second to none. He helped us with everything, took care of us at all times, and was patient, cautious, and kind, despite the work and fatigue of driving for so long. I hope he's lucky and they value him highly because he's a worker everyone would want to have in their company. About Chef Halidy, he was also a 10-star cook. We ate better than at home: meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, creams, fruit, avocados, crepes, tortillas, etc. She was very friendly and we were very well looked after at mealtimes. About the safari through Tarangine, Serengeti, Norongoro, Manyara was impressive and we saw all the possible animals except Rhino and Leopard, because they are difficult to see. The Serengeti Park is the one that is a bit tough to drive in the jeep, and the most beautiful one for me is Norongoro, the landscape seemed incredible to me. Regarding accommodations, we requested a lodge and a campsite and we adapted to them. Camping is a type of accommodation that always has limited amenities, and it's important to assess whether it's suitable for you before booking. Congratulations friends, we will always recommend you!
An incredible and unforgettable experience!! A Safari that exceeded all my expectations. Great organization from the Cubs Expedition team. Our guide Godwin was perfect for us, very kind and in addition he speaks very good French. His experience allowed us to see lots of animals even rhinoceros (it's rare, though) and learn a lot about different animals and places. The chef us to cook delicious dishes (thank you chef Halidi). In short everything was excellent.
Ely did a wonderful job. He was very informative, our personal photographer and very helpful!! We saw doo many animals 4 out of the big 5. Couldn’t find the leopard, he as hiding lol. We even saw some animals outside our tent, but they didn’t come near us. We loved our experience and would definitely do it again!! Frank & Aisha
The organisation was very flexible and fast with responses. We booked very late and still had a great and fair priced Safari.
It was a great experience. We only didn't see the leopard from the big 5. The driver was very caring and made sure to fulfil all of our requests. We have tons of photos, videos and good memories. The accommodation was also great. The tented lodge was good. We had an evening show and good food. The lodge at Manyara was above our expectations. I definitely suggest Cubs Expedition's services!
excellent trip, animals everywhere and so close, we have meet the big five in serengeti and Ngorongoro, planning for a second visit in another season.
