My relatives and I visited Montevideo for a day (whilst in Buenos Aires). We were a little late getting there because of a slight delay with the Buquebus we were travelling with. Marcos, our tour guide, was waiting to receive us. He found us quickly as we came out of the port, and introduced himself. Before travelling to Montevideo, we had been communicating with him to create a personalised itinerary. Marcos was very calm, friendly and kind. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his hometown, and country in general. Before starting the trip, Marcos explained how he was going to proceed with the itinerary. We went all around Montevideo and were able to visit all the places we wanted to, and stop to take photos. We also had free time to dine and explore shops etc. Overall, it was a great day tour with Marcos. He made it very comfortable and pleasant. We are very grateful to him for a wonderful experience in Montevideo. Marcos is very highly recommended!

The tour was great! If you are short on time this is a great way to see the highlights of the Montevideo. Our tour guide Marcos was great at recommending local places to eat. He was very pleasant to talk to and very informative. A native from Montevideo, his English was great! Highly recommended it!

Marcos was our tour guide. His English was good, as well as his desire to show us the best of Montevideo. He did contact me before the tour to discuss time. I was not able to get on Whatsapp right when we got off the ship, so it was a bit hard to find where he was parked. We needed to go out of the port further than we thought to find him in his van. He had given me great directions on Whatsapp on how to find him, but I had not been able to connect to that. Once we got started with the tour he was very courteous and was informative about the history of the city and the country.

My family and I were able to explore the entire city of Montevideo with our trusted guide at the helm. Lots of fun and lots to see!
