Guided tour in the Curicancha Reserve

We had a wonderful tour of the Curicancha Reserve with Kevin. It was a beautiful afternoon and we saw and learned so much from Kevin's vast knowledge of the area. He was a pleasure to spend time with and his passion for nature was evident. If we had not hired him as a guide, we would have had a lovely walk in the woods but we would not have learned even 1% of what we did having him show us the way.

Kevin is an amazing tour guide! He made sure that we saw every active animal at the time. He really cares about making sure you have the best time possible. It is evident that he is very passionate and knowledgeable about what he does. You can trust that he knows what he is talking about! He also makes sure you get pictures of wildlife

This naturalist and guide was outstanding. He went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. He spoke excellent English and is a local, small business owner who grew up in the area. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed his humor, too. He worked hard to make sure we saw incredible birds including a Resplendant Quetzal. We were late for our taxi back to our hotel from the reserve and he generously took us there directly for no extra charge. I will be sending his info to our agent so she can keep booking future trips with this operator. Muchas Gracias, Kevin!

We got lucky and had an awesome tour with only 4 people. Kevin was a great guide. The small group meant we got to see a lot and our guide knew all the different species. Probably one of the best tours so far. Saw many birds and a yellow stripe viper.

Kevin was an amazing guide and really knew his stuff. We saw a number of different animals including hummingbirds, a viper, and toucans! Kevin knew where to find the animals that we definitely would not have been able to spot by ourselves. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the reserve - it's worth paying the extra for this experience in Costa Rica (albeit in a smaller group compared to others)!

We saw over 30 species of birds, as well as some fun mammals and a viper. Kevin was super friendly and very informative about the bird species and the local flora. Definitely recommend the tour.
