View on Google MapsThe organization was impeccable, the explanations of the guide were very rich and exhaustive. Museums are very interesting and you can breathe history everywhere. The aperitif was excellent, in a very suggestive place. We absolutely recommend this toor.
A wonderful trip to learn all about Leonardo in his beautiful home town and surroundings. Our guide Letizia was superb, giving us lots of interesting information we wouldn’t have got on our own. Excellent meal in beautiful countryside to end the trip.
I enjoyed it so much! The tour of the charming town of Vinci, where Leonardo da Vinci was born, was really interesting and fun. Our guide knew how to tell a lot, without it getting too dry – just right. The wine between the vineyards at the end of the day was really the icing on the cake. Beautiful views, fine people and delicious local snacks. And so nice that we were picked up at our accommodation, that made it extra relaxed. Thank you Letizia, for your warmth and personal approach. This was exactly the kind of experience I love!

If you’re looking to explore the heart of Tuscany while learning about the great Leonardo da Vinci, this tour is a must! Letizia was a fanstastic guide, offering a blend of historical knowledge and personal warmth. The pick-up at our hotel in Montecatini was incredibly convenient, and the drive was scenic and peaceful. The tour of Leonardo’s birthplace was fascinating, and Vinci is a town full of charme. After visiting the museum and the church where Leonardo received baptism, we enjoyed a delightful aperitif in a vineyard with panoramic views. The entire experience felt like a perfect mix of culture, history and relaxation. Highly recommend!
Great trip. Nice nature around. Good guide, much more interesting than I thought. Fine museums could have gone there further.
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Florence several times with my wife over the years. This time, we fancied something a bit more tranquil—off the tourist track, as it were. We based ourselves in Montecatini Terme and came across this splendid little tour: “Discovering Leonardo Da Vinci’s Origins & Light Lunch.” Hats off to Ranieri Tour Operator—it was a smashing choice. From the get-go, everything ran like clockwork. We were collected right outside our accommodation—punctual, polite, and perfectly comfortable. Our guide, Letizia, was a real gem. Bright, passionate, and full of local knowledge, she made the whole day feel special from start to finish. The visit to Vinci, Leonardo’s birthplace, was the highlight. A proper Tuscan treasure—quiet, picturesque, and oozing character. It felt like stepping into a painting. Letizia’s insights brought it all to life in a way that was both entertaining and informative. Lunch was another treat—a generous Tuscan platter of cured meats, cheeses, and fresh bread, all paired with a cracking good glass of local wine. Honest food, beautifully presented, and very satisfying after a morning of strolling and sightseeing. Ranieri Tour Operator really know their stuff. Everything was organised with care and enthusiasm. You can tell they love their region and take great pride in sharing it. We never felt like just another couple on a tour—we felt genuinely welcomed. If you're after a taste of Tuscany that’s authentic, relaxing, and a touch inspiring, this outing is just the ticket!
Letizia was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and very friendly. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel in Montecatini, we knew we were in for an unforgettable day. The drive through the Tuscan countryside was absolutely stunning, and when we arrived at Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace, it felt surreal to stand where such a genius was born. The hologram experience at the house was a fascinating way to learn about Leonardo’s life. Vinci itself is so charming, with narrow streets and beautiful views. The day ended perfectly with an aperitif in a vineyard, surrounded by rolling hills and delicious local food and wine. A perfect mix of culture, history, and relaxation!
