View on Google MapsMy guide FAFA was incredibly enthusiastic and generous. He drove me deep into the desert, set up tents, lit a bonfire, and helped me gaze at the Milky Way. He also prepared delicious food for me and shared fascinating knowledge about the desert. It was truly an unforgettable desert tour!
A friend and I booked a two-day desert trip with an overnight stay at Desert Nomad Experience. It was the best decision, because it was an exceptionally beautiful and unforgettable experience that will stay with us for a long time. Our two guides Mustapha and Mohamed were very warm, attentive and pleasant guides. There was a relaxed and relaxed atmosphere. They told us a lot about life in the desert, sang traditional songs and at the same time left room for shared silence. The vegetarian food was delicious and our well-being was always taken care of, so we felt safe and in good hands throughout the tour. On the way to the dunes we made several stops, discovered an ostrich and several camels. In the evening we watched the sunset from the impressive dunes and sat together around the campfire. We decided to sleep under the starry sky without a tent, which was beautiful and magical. The next morning we went back to M’Hamid after a delicious breakfast, covering the last piece on the back of a camel. Thank you very much for the special time together! We would book a desert trip with you again anytime.

We did the 3-day trek with Desert Nomad Experience starting from M’Hamid El Ghizlaine, and it was truly unforgettable. Our two guides were absolutely fantastic — warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. They made us feel safe, welcome, and fully immersed in the nomadic way of life they wanted to share with us. The walks themselves were breathtaking, with endlessly changing desert landscapes and stunning views. Two camels carried all the equipment, food, and water, allowing us to walk at a relaxed, natural pace. November turned out to be the perfect time for this trek: not too hot, very comfortable walking conditions, and exactly the slow and authentic rhythm of nomadic life. Beyond the beautiful hikes, the evenings were a real highlight. Sitting around the campfire, enjoying traditional cooking methods, sharing stories, and soaking in the peaceful desert atmosphere made the experience deeply memorable. And the night sky was simply magical — crystal clear, filled with stars, and we saw many shooting stars each night. For anyone looking for a genuine and serene nomadic experience, away from mass tourism, this trek is an absolute must. It combines adventure, culture, and tranquility in the most authentic way possible.
