3-Hour Hiking and Scramble Guided Tour of Great Saint in Meteora

The Via Chordata outing was the highlight of our trip to Greece. Kostas and George were amazing guides who ensured a fun adventure and shared super interesting stories about the region. The views were just stunning and neither us nor the kids wanted the adventure to come to an end. Thank you again for the most amazing outing!

My husband and myself spent a fabulous few hours with local guide Kostas. He was delightful company and extremely knowledgeable about fascinating local history which he shared during our trip. He was encouraging and reassuring during our climb and kept us feeling safe and well looked after throughout. I’d highly recommend this trip. We are both around 60, are quite experienced walkers but are certainly not climbers. We found the route manageable with our guide but would certainly not have managed anything like this without Kostas. Thank you for a great visit!!

The scramble tour was beyond the best l could experience with Vassilli the most professional and experienced rock climber in the region. My partner and I participated in the rock scramble and rock climbing tour with Chris. He and his partner, Costa, first led us up Great Saint, a super fun rock scramble. We also learned about the history of climbing in Meteora on our way up. Costa also shared about a hiking route up to the Rock of the Holy Spirit, which we hiked on our own later in the day. What an incredible place to climb! We felt so safe and enjoyed our time so much that we booked a rock climbing tour, as well! Chris led us up Pillar of Rain, a multi pitch climb. He knew exactly what to do and we thoroughly enjoyed our time climbing in beautiful Meteora. We hope to return and spend more time climbing with this group in Meteora again, one day!
