The highlight was visiting the Amazigh nomads and witnessing their traditional way of life, centered around their sheep and goats. It was fascinating to see how they live in harmony with nature and sustain themselves through livestock. We also visited the village of Gnouwa, where we enjoyed the traditional Gnouwa music—a powerful and authentic cultural experience that added a special atmosphere to the trip. The 4×4 ride in the sand dunes was absolutely crazy and exhilarating—an incredible adventure that made the tour even more unforgettable. Everything about the tour felt exceptional, from the landscapes to the cultural insights. Our guide, Mohamed, was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. He made the whole experience even more special and ensured everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a genuine and memorable desert adventure in Merzouga!
Visiting the Sahara during the day was a beautiful and authentic experience. The vast desert landscapes were peaceful and impressive. Meeting a nomad family was very special and gave real insight into their simple and traditional way of life. The visit to Khamlia and the Gnawa music was powerful and full of soul, adding a deep cultural meaning to the trip. I highly recommend this desert experience.

An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The tour was very well organized, with stunning landscapes, great stops along the way, and a professional, friendly team who made everything smooth and enjoyable. The highlight for me was the desert activity in the afternoon: I had the chance to do both quad and buggy, and it was incredible. Driving across the dunes was exciting and fun, with well-maintained vehicles and clear instructions that made the experience safe and enjoyable at the same time. The atmosphere felt authentic and relaxed, never rushed or overly touristy. You can really feel the passion and care behind the experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a real adventure in the Moroccan desert. Truly memorable and absolutely worth it.

While we were in Merzouga, we decided to book an off-roading and dune riding experience in a 4x4 vehicle. We booked this activity with Mohammed, and he came to pick us up directly from our accommodation. From there, we went to explore Merzouga and the nearby villages. We visited a small village where the Gnawa people performed their traditional music for us, and we even danced along to the rhythms. We also visited old mineral mines and then stopped to take a break with nomads, who kindly served us tea and shared stories about their lifestyle. It was fascinating to see how simply and happily they live. After that, we continued our journey toward the dunes of Erg Chebbi, with their golden, beautiful landscapes. Driving on the dunes was an incredible experience, and we had plenty of time to stop and take photos. Later, we stopped at a palm tree oasis near Merzouga village and enjoyed a peaceful walk through the oasis. At the end of the tour, we were dropped back at our accommodation. It truly was a fun and memorable experience, and we really enjoyed our time with Mohammed. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Merzouga.
