It was on this basis that I booked a tour for our family, and was actually a big part of the reason we came to Menorca! I was worried the visit wouldn't live up to expectations, but I couldn't have been more wrong. An absolutely wonderful morning from start to finish. Cicero was fantastic, knowledgeable, and really catered to the fact that we had young children with us. The tour was fascinating, and all four of us learned a lot. A truly wonderful insight into the process of mushroom cultivation, and a fantastic family business. The passion shone through at every step. Highly, highly recommend!
Excellent tour and tasting of delicious and very original mushroom dishes. The family owners have put a lot of effort and imagination into their business and we wish them every success.
Great tour and tasty tasting! Well worth the money and highly recommend. Learnt about mushrooms and how fresh mushrooms are grown in their “forest” and then got to taste a variety of delicious dishes with local wines and beers.

Really enjoyed this tour! The rest of the family was a little skeptical because they aren't huge mushroom fans but we all left loving it. The passion that our tour guide and the rest of his family have was so inspiring, refreshing and helped us understand the Menorcan culture and cultivation of mushrooms. We learned a lot and loved all the samples! We ended up staying past the tour and added extra samples for a light dinner on the beautiful patio. Also purchased several products to share with people back home. 10 out of 10! Must do!
Absolutely brilliant ! who knew there were over 1500 fungi in Menorca! the lesson was really interesting , the tour amazing and the mushrooms (sorry fungi) were brilliant . great tour guide - lovely family business and super and tasty food ! we had a brilliant morning .. you must try the mushroom and prawn burgers or the thin mushrooms in garlic! amazing .. mushrooms are the future!
A truly special experience! Cicero, our guide, lives and breathes mushroom cultivation – and you can feel it right away. His explanations were simple, engaging, and full of passion. One of the highlights: we got to visit all the rooms, from the lab to the growing areas – a rare behind-the-scenes look. The taste test at the end was incredible – make sure to book the culinary experience! So delicious, so surprising – a whole new world of flavor. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely time here, the information was very interesting and a wonderful family business. They are all very passionate about what they do. The tasting dishes were delicious, so flavourful and fresh. Ciso was our guide and he was full of interesting facts about the mushrooms. He also sent us information on a walking route from Mahon as we had no car. The route was around 45 mins but all off road and nice country side. Altogether a great day and we would recommend helping this lovely family business.
Really interesting and informative trip learning quite a lot about mushrooms! The host was excellent and kept us engaged on the tour. The food samples were delicious. A different kind of holiday trip but I throughly recommend going.
Such an amazing experience! The owner's son really took his time to explain mycology and show everything they do at the lab, plus at the end we we were spoiled with tasty mushroom food like orange and sage marinade mushrooms, king oyster tataki and many more. We also bought some food to take with us!
