View on Google MapsDavid was very attentive, and organized. Our driver, Ismael, was amazing. His grandfatherly charm and knowledge, A++
We spent a day in Mazatlán during a cruise stop, and the tour company’s location inside the cruise terminal made things super convenient. After a short wait, we met our guide, Windy, and headed out for a fantastic excursion. Windy was warm and friendly, eager to share his knowledge of the area and its culture. Our first stop was a local brick factory, followed by a visit to the small town of Malpica, where we explored two artisan shops—one specializing in decorative ceramic tiles and the other a popular local bakery. After a quick visit to the town church, we continued to Concordia. There, Windy gave us a lovely tour of the Church of San Sebastián, and we had plenty of time to stroll around and shop. We had planned to visit Copala next, but storm damage had closed the road. Thinking on his feet, Windy took us back to Mazatlán for a wonderful tour of the old town, including stops at the Cathedral of Mazatlán (Immaculate Conception), the Mazatlán Lighthouse (El Faro area), and more shopping time. It was an amazing day, and thanks to Windy’s passion and dedication, every moment was memorable.

This adventure was a last-minute decision, and we really appreciated how accommodating they were in getting us scheduled on such short notice. My husband and I ended up being the only ones on the tour, which made it feel like a VIP experience! Luis was fantastic—he genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed every part of our day. Even though it was outside the busy season, we still managed to visit many sights and see so much. Since my husband and I love exploring historical areas and local culture, Luis tailored the experience perfectly to our interests. While a few places were closed, we never felt like we missed out. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Daniel’s, took the mine tour, and made several scenic stops along the way. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour—you won’t be disappointed!
Seeing some authentic towns and seeing the local culture was an excellent experience . Great tour 😎
Our host David was very knowledgeable and shared his insight about the history and culture of the cities we visited. We enjoyed our day out and he even allowed us to stop at a grocery store to pick up a few items. I would recommend David and use him for other tours. He was flexible and fun - and best of all, he makes margaritas in the back of the van too!
Loved our first village. It was a true insight of how the villagers performed their business. David (our guide) was very informative and was one of the best guides we have ever experienced throughout the world. Unfortunately, because of COVID the villages were not yet recovered. Also because of Mother's Day being the day before our trip, the restaurant that we had anticipated to visit was closed, but David took us to our now favorite restaurant in Mazaltan (Mr. Leonso) when we requested a seafood/Mexican restaurant.
David is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides anywhere. His knowlege of Mexican History makes this tour so much more than visiting 3 lovely REAL Mexican pueblos. His English is Great. He lived in Canada and speaks Canadian very well. The English, not the French. A bonus is his Great Mango Margaritas. We went to a lovely lunch spot. You will enjoy any of his tours. Durango will be my next one Cheryl F
David picked us up on time from our hotel. Drove us to Malpica, Concordia and Copala in his air conditioned van. Which was very clean. He was very professional. The tour was fabulous. He took us to a Tile Factory, an old church, did some shopping in all the small pueblos and had lunch at very nice restaurant which is famous for the banana cream pie. Best part of the tour was the Margaritas he made for us. Tamarindo Margaritas are so good and refreshing. If you are looking for a great tour I recommend this one
