View on Google MapsWe did a fantastic 4 nights/5 days mobile safari from Kasane to Maun with nights and game drives in Savuti,Khwai and Moremi. Everything was as we had discussed and organised with Maria! Our tour guide Clifford was amazing! He was very professional, knowledgeable. informative and very helpful throughout our tour. The games drives each morning and evening were great: most of the credit for this was due to Clifford. He was relentless in his pursuit of interesting sightings but at the same time was completely respectful of the wild life and their environment. He was always mindful of our comfort and our safety. We saw so much wild life! Lions, Lionesses with their cubs, cheetah, a rare brown hyena , elephants with their young, beautiful bird life and much much more. It was for us a truly unforgettable experience. On our arrival at the first nights’ camp site we had been welcomed by Jerry, OG and Douglas with a welcome song. They had prepared a very comfortable camp - lovely big tent with comfortable camp stretcher beds, attached bathroom and warm shower. Our versatile cook had prepared the first of a series of delicious meals and after we had dined in the most amazing surroundings we retired to be warmed and mesmerised by the flames of the fire..Each of the camp crew were at pains to make our camping experience just that little bit more comfortable, interesting and enjoyable - including an impromptu and lovely choir performance around the fire one night. Wild camping was an intense and amazing experience - perhaps a little bit more intense than we had prepared ourselves for. We had fallen asleep to the sound of lions roaring in the distance but were awoken by the crunching of bones as a pride of lions devoured a kill just outside the camp. Now, in hindsight, one of the more memorable experiences of the tour, and one we would not wanted to have missed! Thanks to Clifford, who with his obvious knowledge and wide experience, gave us great confidence in our safety at all times throughout the tour! Thank you to OG for the delicious meals! Thanks to Jerry and Douglas for your wonderful hospitality! We have nothing negative to say about our booking experience and our tour experience with KBS. I would thoroughly recommend booking a tour with Maria and her team.

We spent a total of 5 nights/6 days doing an overland tour from Maun to Kasane and spent 3 nights in Moremi and 2 nights in Savute/Chobe. Our guide, Clifford, was extremely knowledgeable and able to identify all animals and birds easily, able to navigate the difficult roads, and able to do these while also looking for animal tracks and giving us a very informational tour. You can tell his knowledge and passion for the areas which was infectious. We saw tons of animals - lions on every single game drive, leopards, buffalo, and tons and tons of elephants, hippos, zebras, impala etc. Overall, we had a lot more time on game drives than I have experienced when staying in lodges and because of this had more time to see animals and to sit and observe them (like watching elephants do mud +dust baths!). The "camp team" was also excellent, the food was fantastic (thanks OG!) and I definitely did not expect hot showers in the bush so that was a wonderful surprise. Great staff and a great group we were paired with, felt like family by the end of the week!
This trip with Kalahari Breeze Safaris could not have been better! The team and guide were amazing and they just thought of everything from the bigger things to the smaller details. We did a lot of gamedrives and a boat cruise in the Okavangodelta and we stayed 2 nights in the prepared camp in an excellent tent with lovely meals all over the day. We really recommend this tour with Kalahari Breeze Safaris!
Hallo Maria, wir sind zurück von unserer kleinen Botswana-Selbstfahrerreise, die mit einer 3-tägigen Safari mit Eurer Organisation begonnen hatte. Wir möchten uns sehr herzlich bedanken für diese rundherum tolle Zeit. Die ganze Organisation hat perfekt geklappt und es war für uns ein ganz wunderbares, besonderes, unvergessliches Erlebnis in der Wildnis zu campen, und das unter so behüteten, luxuriösen Bedingungen. Angefangen von Chris` Besuch am Abend vor Beginn der Reise, der uns bestätigte, dass alles nach Plan laufen wird, bis hin zum wunderbaren Camp mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten und der hervorragenden kulinarischen und liebevollen Betreuung durch Otschi und Chanda. Das Highlight dieser Tage war aber ohne Zweifel die tolle Begleitung durch Clifford. Mit seiner ruhigen, zurückhaltenden, freundlichen Präsenz, seinem großen Erfahrungs- und Wissensschatz über die Tierwelt und sein Land, seiner schier unendlichen Ausdauer an den langen Safaritagen, seiner Bereitschaft uns wirklich alle möglichen Tiere nah aufzuspüren und zu zeigen und alle unsere Fragen zu beantworten und seiner einfühlsamen Persönlichkeit war er für uns ein äußerst angenehmer Begleiter, von dem wir uns nur sehr ungern verabschiedet haben und hat diese Tage für uns zu einer unvergesslichen, erholsamen und ganz besonders schönen Zeit gemacht. Die Organisation durch Kalahari Breeze Safaris war perfekt. Wir wurden pünktlich zu unserem Abenteuer abgeholt und bekamen schon auf dem Weg zur Mokoro-Station viele Informationen über Tiere und die Natur. Im Camp war ebenfalls alles gut organisiert. Unsere Zelte waren schon aufgebaut. Wir waren positiv überrascht, dass wir unser eigenes WC hatten und auch nicht auf dem Boden im Zelt schlafen mussten. Für Camping fanden wir es sehr komfortabel. Es gab genug Decken und sogar noch eine Wärmflasche. Die Crew war stets darum bemüht,dass es uns gut geht. Der Koch im 1.Camp hat mit einfachen Mitteln leckeres Brot gebacken und zum Abend gab es Lasagne - auch da waren wir überrascht, dass das im Bush möglich ist! Die Guides waren stets bemüht, uns Tiere zu zeigen. Auch die Gruppengröße (im 1.Camp waren wir 3 Touristen, im 2.Camp 5) fanden wir sehr gut. Ich würde jederzeit wieder eine Safari in Botswana mit Kalahari Breeze Safaris buchen und kann sie auch nur weiter empfehlen! Wir wünschen Maria und ihrem Team weiterhin viele zufriedene Touristen!
