Our guide sent us a message half an hour after the tour was supposed to start saying he had been sick and needed to cancel. We then received a message that we had cancelled!
Carl is amazing and so knowledgeable about wine and the area. He will plan the day for whatever you want to see or try, and he knows of many truly hidden gems. I can’t recommend this enough.

We had a lovely day with Carl. It turned out to be just the two of us so we had a private wine tour and ride all day. From the moment we were picked up to drop off everything went great. Explored the Rhine region and tasted plenty of wine. We detoured and went to a brewery for lunch, which actually was perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this day trip from Frankfurt. Carl is a wonderful host

Carl is an amazing guide. He provided a customized tour to several wineries. He provided background and the winery host explained about their wines. Carl provided snacks along the way (best pretzels ever) and some of his favorite wines to try. His car was comfortable and roomy. He continued to provide service along the way and assisted with shipping wine back to the states. This is a wine immersion tour with no limits on the number of wines experienced. We couldn’t ask for a better day and the hotel pick up and drop off made it easy. If you travel with Carl you won’t be disappointed

Carl was very knowledgeable and gave us loads of insights. We visited 3 different wineries that all had something unique to offer. Carl tailored the tour to what we wanted but also inspired us to try alot of different blends that were amazing. We tasted a total of 52 different wines!! Snacks and even more wine was provided in between the stops. We had great day and would definitely call him again when we go back to the area for some more amazing German wines!
