We met local people, stayed in their homes, and got a real sense of their daily life. It was such an authentic and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend the 3-day trek — especially with Tan as your guide!
Around the hotel, you can do everything on foot or by bike—no need for a guide. We saw many locals drying rice, which was a lovely and authentic sight. As for shopping, you’ll mostly find the usual: silk scarves, Hmong clothing, and other local crafts.

The village is absolutely, surrounded by stunning landscapes. The bungalows were lovely, giving us a peaceful and quiet place to relax. Our guide was amazing, and the hospitality was excellent. The food was delicious, and the people were very warm and welcoming.
