Tour guide was very passionate about art so the tour was exceptional! He showed us how to enjoy paintings from different visual perspectives.

Pablo gave the art tour that I have been wanting to take every time I have ever been in a museum. His background in journalism and art therapy means that he is insightful and communicates very well. His guidance allowed us to REALLY appreciate not only the styles and techniques of the artists but how certain works of art broke the mold of what came before. I would love to go see ALL of the art museums with him. While many tours are very good, Pablo's tour will be one of the most memorable ones I've ever taken.

The 3 hour tour with Pablo flew by. He knew exactly how to guide us through the museum and went above and beyond to ensure everyone connected with the paintings. To be able to see the evolution of hundreds of years of exquisite art through the eyes of an art historian with incredible emotional depth such as Pablo was a gift. The small group made it more intimate and easy to see and understand the masterpieces. Would definitely recommend this tour and wish we can have more art tours with him on future trips!
We had a fabulous tour with Pablo at the Prado this week. He really gave us a lot of information. He went through the gallery in chronological order explaining the importance of various works of art and how techniques developed. He asked us questions to stimulate conversation about the pieces. Lastly, he is an art therapist and urged us to investigate the emotional impact of art as we look at the pieces. Really a stellar learning experience! I would hire him again in an instant.

When we visit an art museum of this calibre we always book an expert guided tour. This tour, led by Pablo, was the BEST we have ever experienced. He was so engaging and extremely interesting. I learned so much about art history. Highly recommended.
How fortunate we were to book this small group tour! Pablo Ortiz de Zarate was our exceptional art guide who gave us a tour with a mission. He taught us what to look for in each work of art, including historical context and explanations of why paintings were great. He welcomed comments and questions and demonstrated his vast knowledge with responses. In the future I will look at art differently because of all that I learned from Pablo. This tour is the best of all tours I have experienced and is highly recommended!
