View on Google MapsNow the price raised to 350 from 300 (even this wasn't worth it) . I feel the egostic lady sitting there doing entry should understand why people visit here. I think they should give discount of some 200 bucks just because of the attitude that lady shows around like some Queen Elizabeth or something
Nice experience, tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed us around the coffee estate that had so many other spice and local plants/trees. our vegetarian lunch was awesome too.
If you're a coffee drinker and always wanted to know a little more about where and how this magic dust is made, this plantation visit is for you. The good folks at Mercara take you on a short but very informative walk through their plantation showing you all the different varieties of coffees grown in India and the many other spices and fruits that are grown along with them. Once the tour is done, they take you to their beautifully curated museum that tells you about the journey coffee beans took from Africa to the rest of the world and went on to become one of the most sought after drinks in the world. I'd say it's a must do activity in Coorg and throughly enjoyed it.
An exceptional experience 😊The coffee and spice plantation tour was wonderfully done - informative, relaxed, and truly immersive. Loved learning how everything grows, from pepper to cardamom to coffee. Salim was a great guide, and the entire walk felt like stepping into nature’s own classroom. Highly recommended!
called the number provided, and from the booking agent to the tour guide, everyone was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The experience wasn’t just about coffee — it was an insightful journey through the entire plantation, learning about various species and the fascinating symbiotic ecosystem they create. Truly an enriching and memorable visit!
Was a best experience visiting their coffee plantation and Chocolate factory. Such a positve vibe. Durgesh and Karim were outstanding explaining the process and history of coffee and choclate. Highly recommended when you visit Coorg.
Informative and adventurous tour! Manjunath, our guide, shared very fascinating knowledge about not just the coffee grown in the estate but also all the other spices and plants. We also opted for lunch and ate tasty regional cuisines. An experience worth having for the aromatic coffee, rich chocolate, and extremely helpful and friendly staff!
Very informative tour of the coffee plantation estate by Mr. Saleem who was very patient and cooperative throughout the tour.
Very short walk in their coffee plantation, guide did not explain anything properly unless asked. Not worth the money they are charging.
We took the coffee estate tour at Mercarra Gold Coffee Estate, and it was a truly enriching experience. Our guide, Murugesan, was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, offering a detailed and engaging tour of the entire estate. I left with a deeper appreciation and understanding of coffee, thanks to his insights
