It was a contrast between modern Maastricht and the old town that we had not imagined before. Exciting!
We had a very nice city walk with a guide who knew a lot about the history of Maastricht. He was able to talk infectiously about city walls, courtyards and buildings and how people used to live. We have not been bored for a moment and we will definitely come back again.
Very nice and informative walk through Maastricht, you get to know Maastricht from another side because you go off the appropriate paths. The stories were informatiwf and also with a good sense of humor, very pleasant!
This was our first time in Maastricht and this tour was an enjoyable and educational experience. Our tour guide Rene showed us several landmarks and explained the history of the area. We were especially impressed on how the old buildings were renovated and repurposed.
