The class was thorough and fun, the instructors were awesome and knowledgeable, and they create a fun and energetic environment. They even provided water and snacks for the surfers.
The instructors were very nice and professional. We had lots of fun and a great experience. If you have never tried surfing, I would definitely suggest booking lessons with them.
They have it dialed. There were 11 students in our class, but they had a system in place where they were able to keep up the training at a sustainable pace where no one got exhausted, and everyone seemed to improve. I think everyone was able to get up on their board by the end of it. (Of course they were pushing us into waves in the shallows, but they got some important basic skills across clearly.)

The beginner surf lesson in Luquillo was fantastic! The instructor was patient, clear, and encouraging—breaking down each step with confidence. The gear was clean and well-maintained, and the beach break offered gentle, manageable waves. I caught my first ride within an hour!

This was the PERFECT beginners surf lesson, with thoughtful and knowledgeable instructors! I am over 60 and stood on a board thanks to their attentive guidance. I would highly recommend this if you are a first time surfer!
Great experience! I have some experience surfing (only go like once a year) so I didn’t know if a beginner class was for me. But the instructor explained things a new way that was very useful and let me use a leash to practice on my own! Would have been fine with just renting a board probably but I don’t regret the experience!
