We did the dog sledding activity this weekend with three adults. Although riding the sled with the dogs was very enjoyable, we were disappointed with the overall experience of the day. The website describes the company as a family business, but in reality it felt more like a well-oiled tourist machine aimed at getting as many people through as possible each day. We booked a 10 km trip, but due to the relatively warm weather for the dogs (-1 to 0°C), the activity was shortened to 5 km. I live in northern Sweden myself, and when temperatures are too warm for dogs to run long distances, organisations usually take more breaks to allow the dogs to cool down, rather than shortening the experience for guests. Here, that was not done, and it felt like there simply wasn’t time for it because of the tight schedule. Although we did receive a partial refund, it was still disappointing. When you expect a family business, you also expect a certain level of hospitality. Everything felt rushed, and questions about the company or the dogs could only be asked after the sledding, once the whole group was together during a short coffee break. We were also clearly told that we were not allowed to cuddle the dogs after the activity unless the local guides (who mainly drove snow scooters and took photos) gave permission. Afterwards, we received a tour of the property, which for us felt longer than the actual time spent with the dogs. There is an option to rent warm clothing for €10, which includes boots and an overall. However, there is no option to borrow warm gloves or extra thick socks. With these temperatures, warmer gloves weren’t strictly necessary, but again it reinforced the feeling that this was a tourist operation rather than a family business focused on giving guests the best possible experience.

The husky safari was very nice experience. The dogs were very enthusiastic and the ride was really nice and beautiful. After that we were able to meet the dogs and puppies
Experience at 280 € that was not worth it. A tour of just under 20 min. From the start the dogs of our sled did not want to run especially one that was replaced a few meters away. So much so that they didn’t want to , they were very slow and the poor they trembled a lot, it was hard to see. Also, it was not husky tt but short-haired and thin-haired dogs. We complained because nothing was professional. They didn’t want to know anything. And finally, their cages outside were filled with pee , there were several in there . It broke my heart. In short, unfortunately we did not like doing this activity in this unfriendly farm.
My wife and I had a wonderful time! We learned a lot about these amazing animals and had a wonderful experience getting to interact with and "exercise" them. Highly recommend the experience!
As a family we were expecting this to be the highlight of our events. It was the worst activity we all had experienced. It's disgraceful they can charge the prices they do. Of the 1.5 hours advertised, you may experience 20 mins on the sleigh. The remainder of the time is drinking berry juice and dragging out the session to fill time, the husky farm is viewing a couple of dogs crying in cages. The guides were not friendly and the time we got to the sledges we wanted to leave, if it wasn't for the cost and the hour we wasted there, we would have left. We then sit and wait with further delays in freezing temperatures and listen to the dogs crying. One dog pulling us was constantly cowering and had its tail between its legs. We felt sad for the dogs. During our ride our sledge overturned twice and I was dragged a short distance under the sledge and left with bruises. The dog strap snapped once, then they stop for photos, except it dark and freezing cold. There was no follow up on injuries but we couldn't leave the place quick enough. We hope the business is shut down.
This tour really matched expectations of our family. We are definitely recommending this experience. The surroundings were like a winter fairy tale, it was pretty cold but we had fun. Huskies were energetic.
Beautiful experience that we had with the whole family and that I recommend. The sleigh ride pulled by our 4-legged friends in the middle of the woods was very nice and fun. The competent and attentive staff that follows you and explains how to face the whole route safely and quietly. At the end of the tour visit to the center with explanation on activities and type and characteristics of dogs and visit to the structure.
Everyone was super nice, the sledging was just amazing! When the dogs started running, it was just such a high speed, totally different than you think, super nice
Very well organised. Guides were very knowledgeable and the dogs were well looked after, healthy and happy. Really enjoyed our ride and was great to be able to swap riders half way and get photos. Thank you!
