Lijiang Private Day Tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Impressions Show and More

We booked this private tour, and loved every minute of it. Best of all was our wonderful tour guide, Louise. From the moment she met us at our hotel, she outlined the day’s activities, but also inquired of our particular interests so that she could tailor the itinerary to suit our interests. Prior to the meeting day, the tour operator, Discover China Trips, reached out to confirm the time and pickup location. We started the day with a drive to Jade Dragon Mountain. On the way, Louise gave us a lot of insightful information on the different ethnic minorities that live in Yunnan Province, the history of the region, and customs of its people. Once we arrived at the base of the mountain, Louise secured our tickets, and we were on our way up in the cable car. Breathtaking views! When we arrived at the top, Louise kindly offered to take as many pictures as we wanted. Only when we were ready to leave did we proceed back down. We had a tasty lunch, before detouring to the Blue Moon Valley. We really appreciated this, as the stop was not in the itinerary. What a beautiful place! We then proceeded to the VIP section for the Impressions Show, which was wonderful. After a full day, Louise still offered to take us to a small ancient town on the way back to our hotel!
