We had a very enjoyable canal tour in Giethoorn today! What a beautiful area. The quaintness of the town and homes charmed all of us. Our tour guide was warm and engaging. The company was also very accommodating, as we arrived earlier than we’d anticipated and they allowed us to do an earlier tour than our reservation. The boat was clean and comfortable.
We visited this picturesque village during the week and loved it! The many small canals, the charming houses with loving details and the quiet atmosphere immediately enchanted us. It was particularly pleasant that it was not crowded during the week – so we could enjoy the beauty of the place in peace. A highlight was the boat trip through the canals – relaxed, fun and a great way to experience the place from a very special perspective. Overall a wonderful excursion destination that we can highly recommend, especially if you want to escape the hustle and bustle.

Fun tour; interesting; beautiful; guide was funny. It would have been helpful if the meeting directions told you where to park. But we found parking close by. Would recommend this tour!
We were very lucky: we had sunny weather, a good English speaking skipper, funny also. He told us many things along our way on channels, about this dream place
Everything seen and a great start to our stay. The skipper told everything about Giethoorn and surroundings and is definitely recommended if you go to Giethoorn.
