Incredible mangrove adventure. Loved every moment in the water meandering the between boughs and roots twisting and and turning amongst themselves. The cries of eagles echoed above the stillness of the lake, trailing off into harsh cliff faces. Absolute banger of a time. However, the food provided after the kayaking was not very good. The fried rice was alright and the calamari ordered was rubbery.
We had a private tour and enjoyed it very much. She told us a lot about the mangrove and learned a lot about it. She also took a lot of pictures. Best guide we have had in all of Malaysia! Recommended!

Mangrove kayaking was truly one of my favourite activities of my life!!! Qin is a really talented, well prepared guide who shared so much knowledge during our tour, it will be an experience for a lifetime!
Amazing experience kayaking through the mangroves! The scenery was stunning and our guide was super friendly, relaxed and made the whole trip really enjoyable. She shared so much interesting information along the way. Such a unique way to explore Langkawi – definitely recommend! 🌿🛶
The trip was amazing ! Never thought it would be so much fun doing this. Qin was so friendly and know shes doing. 4hours is not enough ! I truly enjoyed the activity and would definitely come back for different route. Highly recommended ! One of the best thing I did this year ! Yeayyyy
This was exactly what we wanted in our experience in Langkawi. The mangrove forest is magical and the kayak ride was very informative and relaxing. Qin was an exceptional guide giving us information about everything from biology, ecology and even anthropology as we quietly cruised through the peaceful mangroves. An excellent choice to avoid the crowded cruise ship tour. Communication with Qin was excellent. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Qin's hospitality & warmth: Qin made sure we were well taken care of. She prepped us mentally on what we're going to do, the physical effort required and her knowledge of the mangrove forests was really impressive! Being up-close with the mangrove forests --- understanding how these majestic trees form a fortress for the beaches, the animals and how they live in harmonious interdependence --- Qin did an amazing job in showing us this hidden world. Highly highly recommend Qin for this tour and her other tour offerings as well! We'd do it all over again ~
Qin is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide whose passion for the Geopark and its inhabitants is infectious. The tour consisted of a visit through a bat cave, followed by kayaking through a series of rivers amongst the mangroves. We never felt rushed by our guide, Qin, and she was happy to answer all of our questions. We really appreciated her keen eye for the jungle, as we spotted monkeys, crabs and other animals we would not have seen on our own. Qin is a fantastic guide who we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Kilim Geopark!
Absolutely fantastic experience with our guide, Qin! We did two tours—one hiking through the jungle to a stunning waterfall and blue pool, and another kayaking through the mangroves with a visit to a bat cave. Both were unforgettable! Qin is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the local nature and wildlife, while also keeping the experience fun and engaging. The hikes were well-paced, the kayaking was peaceful yet adventurous, and the bat cave visit was truly unique. Qin made everything feel seamless and enjoyable.
