Lancaster City Scavenger Hunt

It was a fun hunt around town and not too difficult for us to complete. If you are wanting to take your time at each stop, be advised you will not complete the full hunt in 3 hours. It was a fun time to see the town of Lancaster and learn some history along the way.

Wow, this was a really fun activity to do in downtown Lancaster. We don’t know the area well so we thought it might be hard but it was so fun and really enjoyable. We earned food and desserts plus various merch from local shops. I like how we got to learn lots of Lancaster History while having fun. The app was easy to use and there was even a cute video to help us figure out what to do prior. The host texted us immediately after the event started to say she was available to help throughout the experience. I hope she recreates more of these in other cities.

We had to much fun collectively as a group. My most favorite part was navigating Lancaster city finding different cute places. Having the reward of the hunt! Our whole team enjoyed this experience being together and solving clues and riddles. All the shops and vendors were very polite and eager to serve us.

The Lancaster scavenger hunt was so fun. It was just a little too long. I think 2 hours would have been good. I also think it would have been nice to receive a prize at the end.

We had a fun time! There are plenty of tasks to do and the app was great! There is a decent amount of walking. We didn't mind it bc we like walking but if you get tired easily you'd have a harder time

Had a great time, lots of fun activities and puzzles to solve. PLUS we got rewards for solving some of the clues. I was skeptical at first but it was very worth the time and money. I look forward to trying some of the other activities Unique Lancaster Experience offers!

I have been to Lancaster many times but never spent any time downtown. This scavenger hunt gave me the opportunity to visit many different places and meet new people!

Kendra and her team bring dazzling life to every moment on this tour and care about getting to know you. Solo experiences can be a bit nerve wracking for me but they made me feel so welcome.

This turned out to be more stressful than fun. If you are not a Lancaster local, a lot of the questions/trivia are very hard and almost impossible to figure out. We had to call the host for some answers after we spent almost an hour on one question. We also think some of the questions are outdated because a few of the items we were told to find were not there anymore. You have a 3 hour time limit which we felt like took the fun out of exploring the city because we were just focused on trying to finish all the tasks in time instead of noticing all the different places we were passing. I was under the impression from the description that we would be told where to go and then there would be a puzzle to solve at that location. However, the puzzle WAS figuring out where to go, which is why it was so hard. I'm assuming if you are a local it might be easier. Overall, there were some cool stops on the hunt and it did get us exploring. but we didn't really find ourselves enjoying our time until we stopped trying to solve the puzzles and just explored ourselves. If you are looking for a fun, stress free exploration of the city, this is not the activity for you. But if you are looking for a challenging way of exploring it, then this might be what you are looking for.
