View on Google MapsWe went on this tour because we were looking for something to do before we go back to school/work after the winter holidays. Didn't really know what to expect, but ended up having a fantastic time. 8 stops, and it wasn't just food, we also learned a little about Lancaster City history and the current community. My favorite was the olive oil tasting, my kid liked the empanadas and the chicken bowl. Plenty of bathroom and water stops (which can be difficult on tours) and we ended up not getting dinner because we were so full by the end. Absolutely recommend.
Mabel did a wonderful job leading us on a delicious and informative journey through a slice of the International food scene in Lancaster. She brought us to small, family owned proprietors who have immigrated to the US, settled in Lancaster and are now bringing the treat of their family’s cuisine to diners/shoppers here. Mabel has a wonderfully bubbly personality, had lots of fun stories to relate and kept us engaged throughout. Highly recommended!
A little more than 2 hours. Wear sneakers or walking shoes. Great food. Would like more history of Lancaster
Ashlee was a wonderful tour guide. She made sure to share local stories and gave us a unique international experience. All of the tastings were very good.
The experience was great! When one visits Lancaster, one think about the Amish and their food and culture. However, taking the tour, you realize how diverse Lancaster really is. I highly recommend the international food tour!
Tour guide was very informative and friendly. Food was phenomenal and the portions were much bigger than I expected. I highly recommend this tour as it a unique and fun experience!
Fun and interesting, very busy at the market. Unique and cultural education, with food! Definitely a great time. Awesome tour guide.
We had the best Foodie tour with Mabel! She was so fun! We live in Lancaster and visited a lot of restaurants and shops that I hadn't even known about. We walked away very satisfied and full!
We made 7 stops, with both sweet and savory samples. You will do a lot of walking, but Mable was a delightful tour guide with a lovely British accent! We had food at 3 locations, tea, candy, olive oil. and ice cream.
The idea behind this was so lovely - Lancaster is a city who embraces and welcomes immigrants and refugees. I’m sad to say, the tour did not live up to the idea or the price. Our first tasting was outside in a parking lot near a garbage dumpster, as the guide hurriedly passed around a tray of appetizers. One of the international tastings was pepperoni and veggie pizza. So disappointing. We expected a bit more. The premise is wonderful! But for 3 tickets at 60.00 each, pizza was a bit underwhelming. The guides were kind and knowledgeable though.
