View on Google MapsIt was a very nice experience. The hosts were very open to our questions. It was like having dinner with family. Such a nice experience.
Wonderful experience to spend part of a day with an Amish family. Aaron & Barbie were terrific hosts. The food was great. We really enjoyed touring their farm and seeing all the animals. Thank you for welcoming us all into your home and sharing with us what a day in the life of an Amish family looks like. It was a wonderful day!!!
It was really fun and a lot of Amish facts were addressed. Love the rich history of the Amish. WOW they are amazing!! Amish live a simple life which we all should learn from them.
Our driver, Moses, was extremely knowledgeable about Amish culture. He was very personable and patient with us. He answered all of our questions and educated us well! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with Barbie, Aaron and their 5 year old son. We will definitely do this again next time we are in the area. I highly recommend it!!
Was a great experience! Moses was a great guide with excellent information and insight. He lives in the area and thus has good knowledge and feel for the area and people. Lunch with Mary, her mother and daughter was terrific. The food was excellent and home cooked. Mary and her mom were great to talk to. Arlene was just as cute as she could be. She took us out to feed the goats, see the horse, chickens and the deer. Thanks to Mary for sharing her home and family. Glad we chose this tour!
Jamie was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the Amish culture and just a nice guy! We had dinner with an older Amish couple in their 70’s, who had 10 children and 56 grandchildren. They enjoyed having us there as much as we enjoyed being there. The food was absolutely delicious. We had beef, chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, noodles, pickled beets, beef gravy, homemade bread, and homemade peanut butter and jelly, peaches and for dessert we had vanilla ice cream and this warm, gooey chocolatey brownie cake. It was well worth the money. We left there grateful and stuffed. We didn’t take many pictures, just soaked up the experience. I recommend it to anyone who wants a personal experience with the Amish. It was the best part of the trip!
We had a lovely visit with Emma and her little girl. She was a wonderful cook and a warm hostess. Our tour guide, Moses, was very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!
Jamie was friendly and very informative. The home we went to was clean and the host was very friendly. Great food and conversation
It was excellent. Moses was kind and knowledgeable. The family we visited was gracious, and the meal was delicious.
This was a truly wonderful experience. Moses was awesome and answered our questions with enthusiasm and was a pleasure to be with. Our host was awesome and the food kept coming. Would highly recommend!
