View on Google MapsWe had a fun ride with Christina (owner) and another couple of guests. We drove on the crests of the MacKenzie Station farm and saw sheep, cows, hares, fallow deer, and red deer. We had great views of Mt Cook. Christina was very interesting and knowledgeable and filled us in on more of the 'local' history. We met LARRY (her sheep) and his friends.
We booked this tour on spec while we were in Tekapo and it was a great decision. It turned out that we were the only people on the tour so it felt like a personal rather than a group tour. Actually, because our guide Bill was so good it felt like a drive out with a mate. Conversation flowed very easily and Bill had loads of detailed local knowledge and history. We got to see places we would never have got to on our own.

We weren't sure what to expect, but it ended up being tons of fun. Christina was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and floral and fauna. Would highly recommend to families as we all enjoyed the tour!
Surpassed our expectations. Was our 40th wedding anniversary, so very similar haha! Ben’s driving skills impeccable as is his eyesight- always amazes me when locals see something that I swear is not there, so I will google a picture next time. Had beautiful mountain water and Ben was patient and answered questions he probably gets hundreds of times. Cass Valley and farm was so interesting being a generational farm. From Mountains to braided rivers Wasn’t rushed. If you are wavering, just go. Worth every cent and remember your camera. the ride isn’t scary or challenging if you’re a nervous nelly Thank you
An amazing experience that exceeded all our expectations. Admittedly we were blessed with a beautiful clear day that perfectly showcased the magnificent and diverse scenery. The terrain was rugged but handled perfectly by our host in her trusty 4WD. Christina seemed to relish her role and was a wealth of knowledge while also engaging in exchange of information and friendly banter with our group. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone seeking this type of experience.
