View on Google MapsI had a great week in the company of Salman (guide) & Ahmad (driver) exploring Lahore and its delightful vibrant & chaotic life. I visited numerous historical places and gained much insight into the cultural & religious heritage, and social structure of modern Pakistan. Salman was excellent at explaining the big and subtle differences of lifestyle from my Western perspective . The food was amazing, and I had plenty of it !! Visiting the Himalayan foothills in Murree was peaceful & beautiful, a relaxing contrast to the cities of Lahore & Islamabad. I managed a couple of hikes which brought me even closer to the natural beauty & calmness of this area. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to sample the spirit of Pakistan.
