View on Google MapsThis was a great time! Christian was super responsive ahead of the lesson, and very helpful and patient during the lesson. You should know going into this that while it’s a lot of fun, it’s also super hard! I don’t have a ton of experience surfing, so I found that getting up and getting comfortable on the board did not come too easily for me. Was able to sort of figure out how to get up by the end of the lesson, but I was far from comfortable on it. Also would definitely recommend taking his advice of wearing a long sleeve rash guard. Even with a life vest on, my belly got pretty scratched up. So did my knees! All things considered, it was a really fun lesson and Christian was an awesome guy, but somebody who has some surfing experience would probably do better than I did!
I had so much fun trying the electric surfboard for the first time! It was a little challenging to stand up at first, especially while trying to control the speed with your thumb—but once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing. No need to paddle out or wait for waves—you’re just gliding over the water and soaking it all in. 🏄♀️🌊 I’d never seen an electric board before this, and now I’m obsessed. Super beginner-friendly once you’re up, and honestly just a really unique and exciting experience. Tyler was awesome—super patient and gave great tips, plus he took amazing videos so I could relive the whole thing. Definitely recommend adding this to your Maui adventure list!

You need to experience it to understand how amazing it truly is. It’s an easy learning process and the crew were knowledgeable and reliable. Learning to ride an electric surfboard was really fun, not too difficult, and the instructors were skillful, personable, and positive. They had a photographer who took pictures and he will soon be able to offer videos of your session via drone. If you are leery about standing up on the board, you can hold it and glide like a sled.
Just went today! So fun, not too difficult, and the instructors were awesome!! Diving underwater was especially cool. If you are leery about standing up you can have great fun just riding it like a sled. Way worth it!
