Bintan Sand Dunes and Blue Lakes Half-Day Tour with Lunch

We had a great experience on this tour. Our driver and guide, Yurnalis, picked us up promptly at 9:30am from our hotel lobby, and our first stop was the stunning Blue Lake and Sand Dunes. The weather was hot, but the scenery was absolutely beautiful and made for some spectacular photos. We then headed to Kelong “Jagonya” Seafood Restaurant for a seafood set lunch. The dishes were familiar—similar to Singaporean and Malaysian stir-fried seafood—and overall very tasty. Our final stop was a small souvenir stall with plenty of free samples to try, which was a fun way to wrap up the tour. We were back at our resort by 1pm, making it a smooth, pleasant, and well-organised half-day outing.

There was a little delay of 30min as the Indonesia side informed us that there was a system glitch. However we were ok with the 30minute delay and went on the Blue Lake. It was such a surreal experience and the weather was scorching and we were prepared! Great scenery and experience. We climbed all the way to the top ! Souvenirs here are really expensive, so try not to buy it if you can help

The hotel was well maintained and had good service as well as the restaurants there,as well as affordable and comfortable

Really did not get the hype with this , a small lake with a blue tinge accessesd via wooden steps in some sand dunes. Reminded me of the old clay pits in Cornwall but a 1/8 of the size and not as pretty. Spent less than. 10. Minutes here . Would not recommend

I booked a wrong date and Rio was very accommodating for the date change. Arif is an excellent guide. The lunch included should perhaps focus more on quality rather than quantity.

Although the tour was rescheduled in the last minutes, we had really enjoyed the tour. Full of the contents.

I did not expect much as I had been to Bintan quite sometime ago. But no regrets at all to sign up for this trip. I am so grateful to be assigned a good local guide who happened to be a great photographer as I was on a solo trip.

The half day 4 hour tour was such an amazing experience. Our tour guide picked us up from the ferry terminal and took us right to the Blue Lake and Sand dunes. The views are breathtaking and there's plenty of time for pictures. We were then driven around the island through one of the main towns and visited Chinese and Buddhist temples. The last stop was a tasty seafood lunch. There was 2 of us but enough food to feed 4 people. We were dropped back off at the ferry terminal and headed back to Singapore on the one hour ferry ride. This was a fabulous day trip.

firstly, it is not a desert or sand dunes but seemingly remains of a volcanic activity. the blue lake is also artificial. Having said as above, the place is still great to visit and does entice you. spend about an hour.
