View on Google MapsOur guide and driver met us at the port and asked us if there was anything we particularly wanted to see to make sure we got what we wanted. Temor, our guide was very easy to understand and had so much information about what we were seeing. Some of the roads weren't the best but the sights were so worth it. Made it to vantage points most tours won't. Temor also explained the history and culture of Sao Miguel. It was a custom tour with a fabulous guide. EXCELLEN!!
We booked 2 days with T4W and was fortunate to have Miguel as our driver / guide. He went out of his way to accommodate on our request which included stopping at a small town of my great-grandfather’s birth. We saw and experienced so many sights that would not have been possible with a standard your bus/van. Great company and better employees. I highly recommend.

Hands down the best thing we did in Sao Miguel and one of our top tours we’ve ever taken globally. We were lucky enough to have Miguel as our guide and he’s fantastic. He knows so much about the islands, flora and fauna, best places to go - on and on. Let him judge where to go based on the weather and the cameras. Take a rain jacket for sure. We got poured on after lunch. Take an extra battery for your phone, a hoody and wear pants (we are here in October). Hiking boots weren’t needed for us but if it starts raining your shoes may get wet. I wish we had booked him twice. It’s less fun figuring out where to go on our own!!!

It was great. Luis is friendly, funny, knowledgeable about history and local lore, good driver, took us to interesting places, made great suggestions for us, e.g having a picnic lunch in a secluded place by the lake.
incredible day. the views just kept getting better. i must have taken over 100’pics and that was after deleting the duplicates and not as good ones. we rented a car here since I read that you must have one. we considered cancelling because we could just drive. This is not at all the case! The 4 wheel drive took us to all kinds of places we would not have had access to. The landscape here is amazing and still so new to tourism.
We absolutely enjoyed our trip and Miguel was a joy to be around with and a great driver and knowledgeable tour guide. Our day and the route was perfect and we got to see so many special places around the island. Thank you so much!
Talmo was like a touring encyclopedia! He showed us things that we never could have experienced with our rental car. It was such an unforgettable experience and we ranged in age from 70-80!
