View on Google MapsAmazing experience! It was raining below and we were assured it would still be spectacular at the top, and it sure was above all of the clouds. Saw more stars than we ever thought were possible, planets, nebula, galaxies and more. Everything was explained with excitement, passion, and you could tell the years of expertise. Can't wait for the resort to open!
After 3 hours by coach, we picnic at sunset by the roadside; wine was offered, but it was an infamous red that ended up in the ditch, we had no choice of a white wine. Stargazing in the astronomical glasses took place in a cantilevered parking lot, in the immediate vicinity of the road (we were regularly disturbed by the headlights of passing cars), which was not the most conducive for proper observation, while there is a very large terrace in the center of visitors. But it is supposedly too close to telescopes and we must not disturb these gentlemen astronomers who work hard (yeah?)! Bullshit!! Finally return by coach and sleep at 3 am, result: half a day wasted. Pros: the guides were nice and worked hard to make us observe the stars. In my opinion there is better to do in La Palma.

Angelo was very flexible with rescheduling and relocating (bad weather, yes that can happen in January), he is very knowledgeable and gave an amazing tour with lots of detailed explanations on equipment, star constellations etc! Next time we will come for the tour on Roque :)
Our guide was very friendly and shared interesting explanations about the night sky and the observatory. The experience was unforgettable! A must for every visitor and totally worth the cold. Be sure to wear warm clothes, as the temperature can drop close to zero. It can also be quite windy.
We booked a private tour and had a fantastic experience. Angelo is deeply passionate about astronomy—the stars and the universe are truly his element. The organization was excellent, and the communication before the tour was clear and effortless. Angelo answered all of our questions, and we were able to see countless stars and even a large planet. I would absolutely do it again. Thank you for everything!
We had a great tour with Angelo, who was very knowledgeable and introduced us in the world of astronomy. Being able to see stars and olanetes through a telescope was an amazing experience. Recommended!
It was totally beautiful. Angelo our guide was very friendly, funny and had a lot of knowledge about the stars. We would recommend the experience to anyone, the sky over La Palma is really unique because the light from the cities is mostly darkened by a layer of clouds below and the airspace over La Palma is not allowed for aircraft. This also reduces air pollution. It was very cold up there, we definitely had too few layers on, so dress warm!!
Unforgettable experience! Angelo is so knowledgeable and his explanations are very interesting! Plenty of time to look at and discuss celestial bodies. Small group so there is no just standing around. Dress warmly and be prepared to be amazed!
We had an amazing private stargazing experience. We saw a lot of beautiful things, with Saturn and its rings as the highlight of the evening. Angelo’s explained everything very clearly. We definitly recommend this excursion.
We went on October 31 of this year 2025, knowing that we were not experts in the matter, but we were delighted, especially with Angelo. She explained many things (she is fluent in many languages) and prepared the most beautiful views of which I am still shocked. Thanks Angelo, we recommend it 100%
