Asiel was a great guide - before we had started the tour he was showing us a sloth he had spotted. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the wildlife and Fortuna. It was a group of 8, and he made sure everyone got to see the animals and helped take photos. Highly recommend.
This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was Asiel, we highly recommend. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about nature. He also helped us capture every moment. 10/10 experience!!

Amazing walk. I used a mobility scooter which unless you have people to help you lift it over tree roots and very uneven ground do not recommend. We saw a tapir, sloth, red eyed tree frog, orb weaver spider and two eye lash vipers- one baby and one adult. Have your guide help with photos. Would not recommend with young children as deadly things are very close to you and if they tend to touch things could get seriously hurt. Anjelica was amazing and our tour guide for the day Venmy were so knowledgeable and helpful.
We saw so much bugs and sloths and frogs, super fun and creepy! Wear pants and shirts and boots, leave no skin out because soldier ants pack a punch if you step on their House.
We did the Twilight tour and it truly was outstanding! Asiel was an excellent guide—friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife, and the small group made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone visiting La Fortuna.
We had a wonderful time. The wildlife was amazing, including the birds and frogs. Highlight was seeing many sloths including a mom and baby. Our guide Asiel was kind, knowledgeable, attentive and fun. Great spotter and helped us take wonderful photographs. It was the highlight of our trip so far!
Asiel is the best tour guide in the jungle. He is not only an expert, but a genius or a wizard. He found frogs even behind the leaves, he not only sees, he feels the presence of animals everywhere. His humor is also excellent, he does his best to show all the living creatures in the forest. You should not miss this tour in Costa Rica! We had the greatest experience in this country and it is thanks to Asiel!
Asiel was AMAZING! It says Sloth tour, but we saw so much more than that — frogs, reptiles, birds, insects, cool plants just to name a few. You can tell he really cares about nature conservation and truly enjoys what he does. Extremely knowledgeable — asked him all sorts of questions and he knew everything. Food after was incredible as well. I’ve done a couple of animal tours in Costa Rica in the past and this was my favorite. Really got to understand Costa Rica from a locals perspective as well!
Our guide Asiel was very knowledgeable and his English was great. The tour is very respectful of the environment and the animals living in the park, while also giving tourists an opportunity to see animals from up close using a telescope. We got caught in a big storm, but made tortillas with cheese at the end of the tour instead.
