Dakodwom, Kumasi, Ghana
View on Google MapsWe hoped for a cooking class and market experience, that would bring us closer to the Ghanaian culture and show us, how things are done. And we were not disappointed. Kelvin, our guide, took us to the biggest market in west Africa and showed us how things are done. We bought everything and went to his lovely family home, where we prepared a fantastic and authentic meal, which we all shared. That alone was a worthwhile experience. We continued the tour to our surprise, because Kelvin was so helpful and nice. We saw the kings place, a museum and saw the legendary Asanti sword. To sum up, it was a great day and an everlasting experience. We really recommend doing this tour.
This cooking class was very excellent value ,it was an easy and scenic train ride from vehicle , and we were picked up from the hotel giving a ride to the market .and it was stunning location , welcome break from the tourguide and bustle of Venice . The cooking class itself was Soo much fun. A sweet tourguide showed us everything step by step a while . All the ingredients were local fresh, we got to enjoy the meal with our wonderful host and even drove us back to the hotel. Amazing BILSON TOURS GH
I and my friends were very hands on and we learnt many techniques Along the way, and there was great variety in the dishes that we cooked and the ingredients, that we organized and supervised. The tour guide is very friendly, helpful and hospitable.
