On time efficient very pleasant Driver from Plett to George airport
Extremely reliable and pleasant experience. Arrived and left on time and was extremely easy to arrange and pay for. Went from George Airport to Plettenberg Bay.
Terrible service, we had booked the shuttle from George Airport to Plett. On pick-up in George there was no communication prior to arrival, what car to look out for? Made contact then waited a number of minutes for the driver to call and they were in an unmarked vehicle, anyways I had an uneasy feeling because I'm used to shuttles standing with a placard, providing car and driver details, this was for 5 pax. Then on the return trip from Plett to George airport the shuttle never arrived, when I reached out I was given sob stories of how the driver never arrived for work, I was like but as a shuttle service you should know this long before the pick-up time so other arrangements can be made, pikc-up time was 7am, I only had contact with somebody by 7:21 and was told a new driver would be there in 8mins, in the meantime I made arrangements to take my colleagues in my personal car and arrange for an additional car. Needless to say their plan was to send 2 cars and switch to a bigger car in Knysna, only found that out when I called by the new driver to say he was on his way, 15mins later than promised and I was like we have no time for that, they had to be at George Airport by 9am and there was still no pick-up. Did the drop-off myself and was promised a refund by 9am but the company has ignored my messages, calls etc. I t seems like they cant off the face of the earth. I would not recommend them as a shuttle service!

The GR Express shuttle was the easiest to communicate with of all the companies. The driver was friendly but not intrusive and the ride was smooth and efficient
My flight delayed due to bad weather in Johannesburg. When I landed In George airport the shuttle had already left me despite the communication of asking for it to wait for me. So, there wasn't much experience I paid for a service that I did not receive

The service was really outstanding. From arranging the booking to the actual service everything was simply perfect. Shuttle drivers ran on time and it was an extremely pleasant experience.

Great experience on arrival at George Airport to drop off in Knysna. Return however went very wrong with no confirmation of pick up on day prior to departure and not able to raise anyone at Garden Route Express. Phones not answered, whats app not responded. Eventually, after making last minute alternate arrangements, Mr Lawrence called me with apologies and commitments to refund me the portion of my trip already paid. That would have put things right however, I never received the refund and Mr Lawrence ignored my calls. Complete lack of integrity !
