Great tour with good overview of the area. We saw beautiful gardens, the old samurai village and the markets as well as other local sites.
Our driver Waka went above and beyond. Not only did he bring us to each destination quickly and comfortably, he also personally guided us around certain sites such as Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden, providing extra information and context to our visit to Kanazawa.
We had a wonderful time. This was one of our most favorite places to visit, just because it was absolutely beautiful. Our driver was Mai, and she gave us excellent service. She took us to all the hot spots and even got us into a tea room tasting at the gardens near the castle. She had water and umbrellas for us, too. She took excellent care of us and we enjoyed every stop!
Got the highlights of the city on our own pace. Some more free time in the Geisha district to roam the shops would be fun but ultimately we had an extra half day in Kanazawa to do that. Our guide Hiro was very knowledgable.
