View on Google MapsReally solid experience and great tour guides (One from Scotland, the other Northern Ireland). Went in late January and the snow was amazing along the coast and on the cruise. Wasn't overly crowded or annoying like other tours can be.

The tour date was on 28 Dec. Our guide - Mike, was friendly and professional. The time given at each stop was adequate to explore the place freely. We were blessed with fresh snow the day before and it was truly an enjoyable tour.

We signed up for 3 different tours with the company and coincidentally had the same guide for 3 days! Our three-day journey with the same amazing guide concluded with the Amaharashi Coast & Shokawa Cruise from Kanazawa tour, and it couldn’t have been better. The tour was originally scheduled earlier, but thanks to our guide’s thoughtful planning, it was rescheduled for a day with perfect weather—making the Shokawa Cruise even more breathtaking. The stunning views of the Tateyama mountain range from Amaharashi Coast were absolutely unforgettable. The cruise itself was peaceful and picturesque, with our guide providing fascinating insights along the way. Spending three days with the same guide isn’t always easy, but Garrett managed to keep every conversation fresh, engaging, and insightful. His deep knowledge, storytelling skills, and genuine enthusiasm for the region made every moment enjoyable. A perfect ending to an incredible journey! Thank you for the experience!
February is not the most popular month to travel, but if you’re adventurous and simply wear the proper warm clothes, you will love this tour! Beautiful scenery - the snow and the cruise was gorgeous - and a nice mix of walking and seeing the sights via a comfy tour bus. You also get some “alone time” for shopping at your pace. Garrett is an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and personable! He helped me get my train tickets for a solo trip I took later and had numerous travel and shopping tips and ideas. I took three different Snow Monkey tours while visiting Japan and each one was awesome and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Snow Monkey tours!
