View on Google MapsThe guides were friendly. Had a great time on the horses and the of course the hike down to the water fall was great! (It would be considered difficult) we wore chacos and Tevas and did well. The natural pool was the high light. Had fun cliff jumping and was nice to cool off.
Overall, the tour was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I truly can’t express how friendly everyone was. We booked this tour through L.A. who is a part of the Costa Rica Tour Office. She is incredible and was always there when we needed her or had questions. The horseback riding tour was so great. There was a guide that went with us the entire time and it was a private tour which just our family. We did a 40 minute horseback ride to a great spot for photos and to take in the views and then did a 40 minute hike that brought us even closer to the huge and beautiful waterfall. Then, we hopped back on the horses and stopped at a waterfall “pool” where we jumped off of the rocks and swam to cool off. It was perfect and stunning. Then we went on the horses to get back to the stables and then went to lunch. Alex was amazing and our guide was fantastic as well. Highly recommend. Great time.

It was a great experience!!! I highly recommend you book it!! Alex was great and his employees very helpful. Horses new the route and even my 5 yr old had fun riding on the horse.
In love with the biodiversity of Bijagual, during the whole trails we found different species of fauna and flora, and of course the amazing waterfall!
Excellent and beautiful but the hiking is not for the weary or weak. Be prepared for steep elevations and many steps. My Apple Watch clocked us at 16,000 steps. Our guide was patient with me.
Riding a horse on those trails was an amazing experience, but what I love the most was to meet the natural pools, this is a place that people don't have to miss.
Wanted to disconnect from reality I found the best place to achieve that, and it was this gorgeous place, I really enjoy those trails to the Bijagual Waterfall.
Wanting to have peace and some fresh air we took this horseback riding tour at Bijagual Waterfall, we even spend some time swimming in natural pools, it was a great time.
This was an incredible experience, riding a horse through those trails and relaxing surrounded by Costa Rican nature made of this a must do.
Our tour guide did everything right -- helped the less experienced ones and gave independence to others. About 45 minute horseback ride to a medium-difficulty hike to see the waterfall and back to the horses; then a short ride to the bottom of the waterfall with amazing water dipping and cooling down; heading back in a neat ride. All amazing, with great views of the jungle and a calm environment. Great overall.
