View on Google MapsI wasn’t prepared for the amount of climbing up steep hills, but that was probably lack of research on my part. I wouldn’t recommend this tour for people with any trouble walking up steps or steep hills. I thought that we were taking the horses to the waterfalls, but we did a quick ride around the ranch on the horses & back to the main area, then we took a ride up to the mountain area where we hiked up to the top before the repelling/ ziplining. Overall it was a great time. Very safe and the guides are very helpful & friendly!
All the guides were so amazing. I got super sick in the middle of it and Carlos and the other gentlemen were so kind. Highly recommend, this was an amazing tour.
Absolutely an incredible time! We spent 2 days doing various activities including ATV, ziplining, horseback and waterfall repelling. The staff were knowledgeable and very fun. They also were very supportive of our sometime nervous 7 year old daughter. They encouraged her and helped her feel comfortable with every experience. The adventures were top notch! We would highly recommend.

The overall experience, the location, activities and the guides were all wonderful and very kid friendly. We are a family of 4 with 2 preteens. It’s especially worth mentioning the guides. All of them were super nice and professional. They took time to explain and demonstrate instructions, made us feel welcome, gave their 100% attention to keep us safe and entertained, and made the whole experience really fun. The guides interacted really well with the kids and made them feel completely at ease. Also, the horses were do well behaved. The tour is pricy even for CR so wish they included food and refreshments without extra charge.
We chose the three options of the title…ATV could also be added if wanted. We had a great experience from beginning to end. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and truly loved their jobs! We took a short ride up the hill to first rappel down the 180ft waterfall. Drier time of season so the falls weren’t rushing in your face as you descended down two levels to the bottom. Guides were patient and helped us laugh through our initial fears. We then zip lined on a few lines and then ascended up a steep hike to the tallest & longest lines. The views were well worth the incline to get there. We even got to taste heart of palm right from a stalk off the plant! A short break with a bottle of water and we rode back down to the bottom of the ranch. Light refreshments offered meant the bottle of water. Order the meals offered upon arrival provided by a nearby local restaurant for an added fee. They were delicious and otherwise you are sitting there watching people eat until the next portion of the trip. Then it was time for the horseback riding. Well maintained horses and the trail through the hills was gorgeous. Our friend was sick the day we planned our excursion and staff allowed her and her husband to come back and provided a private 2 hour horseback ride to the waterfall for them on another day. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you to Jesus and entire staff and Lazy the dog! One of the many highlights of our trip!
We did the nature bundle. We arrived and took a truck with other groups of people in the back to do rappelling first. It was a 180ft waterfall. They do a demonstration of how to do the activities before you get up there. We look a little hike to the top and they help you through the whole thing so it isn’t stressful. You rappel halfway and then change to the second rope and then go to rest of the way. Then we took the truck back to the ranch and got on the horses. They are all well trained to stay in a like and Daniel, our guide, let us run a little with the horses if we wanted to. We rose through the trees and the stream. Then the other groups had lunch, we opted not to, but they said it was really good, they had a few different options. We then waited a little longer than we would’ve liked to do zip lining, about an hour. To get to the zip line you have to hike for about 10 minutes, it’s pretty steal but definitely worth it. Views of the forest are amazing and saw a lot of birds. All and all definitely worth it for the price. The tour guides were amazing and very friendly and funny. Other than the wait between activities it was great. A lot longer than other people seemed to experience but each group was doing all different activities, 7 hours we were there and were expecting about 4.
it was so much fun! the zip lining was my favorite part. the tour guides were great and super helpful <3
We had a great time! Our guides Milo and Luis were awesome and knowledgeable. Milo pointed out a lot of wildlife as we went. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but our tour went like this: it was pouring rain when we got there but we still got to go out. It was just my husband and I with Milo and Luis. We took a truck up into the park and then hiked for a little bit until we reached the top of the waterfall. We repelled down and then met up with another group for the zip lining. Then we broke off again and went horseback riding for about an hour. Overall it was a great experience and we definitely enjoyed it! It was very fun to be up in the jungle/forest and experience it firsthand doing such fun activities.
This place is top notch. The guides were amazing! The Ranch is gorgeous and well maintained. The horses all very well kept. We started out horseback riding and then we water repelled down a waterfall .. such a fun experience. We then zip lined through the ranch. Every activity was fantastic. What makes this tour stand out was definitely the ranch and the guides!! They even have a dog named Lassie who follows from behind from start to finish. We finished with a fresh hot lunch. They picked us off and dropped us off from Los Suenos. My son left his iPhone in car and when I called they said don’t worry we will locate and get your phone back. 10 minutes later my son had his phone. I would definitely recommend this excursion!
We were visiting for a birthday vacation trip, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owners and touring with their incredible and fun staff. Arnold, Jose, Jesus, Ivan, and the rest were so kind and friendly and made everything we learned feel very interesting and safe!! Highly recommend the entire experience!!
