Ishigaki Mangrove SUP or Canoe + Blue Cave Snorkeling

This kayaking tour in Ishigaki Island was an incredible experience. Paddling through the mangroves was peaceful and the views were absolutely stunning. My tour guide, Makoto, was smart, knowledgeable, and very professional, and it was clear how dedicated she was to making sure everyone had a great time. She also gave me excellent recommendations on where to eat after the tour, which were very helpful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ishigaki Island.

It was the first time for the instructors, but they were kind and fun. The view was also well relaxed and I enjoyed the mangrove sup!

We enjoyed kayaking in the morning and snorkeling in the afternoon and enjoying the great nature of Ishigaki Island. There were many other tour participants in the same spot, but safety precautions were taken to avoid contact. It was a familiar guide whether they had gained experience in knowledge. He told me that he couldn't get enough of the shuttle bus, and he was a caring young and fun guide.

We happened to be the only group on the mangrove tour, so we could enjoy canoeing slowly. It was fun to hear about plants from my guide Hiroki. I looked up at the mangroves from the canoe and they were sparkling and very beautiful.

I joined with my children (11 and 9) as a family. I was worried about whether my children would be able to do it in my first SUP, but they kindly taught me how to do it and made it fun enough for them to keep going. Our guide, Hiroki, enlivened us and it was a very enjoyable and fulfilling time. It is rare for a couple to take a photo together, but I was happy that they asked me to take a photo with them. This was a great tour and I’m so glad we went. The snorkeling at Blue Cave was gorgeous and by far my favorite. My 14-year-old loved the snorkeling as well. Aoi was our guide and he was so friendly, got everyone in the group chatting, and he did a great job keeping us all together and checking in. I wish we had more time to snorkel and hang out at Blue Cave but, this was well worth it.

The guide was so cheerful and helpful, I really enjoyed it. It was an unusual sunny day for Ishigaki island’s winter, and I was able to enjoy the view of the mangroves slowly♪ I thought it would be more convenient to have a rental towel.
