View on Google MapsGreat way to see the sites of Seoul if you have a long layover. Peter Parker was attentive, knowledgeable, funny and made sure I saw as much as I could during my layover. He made adjustments on the fly to make sure to hit all my priorities. Highly recommend!
I had a layover of 14hours, I booked this tour around 6:30am and Peter picked me up around 10am; I didn't have a sweater or a jacket with temps being in the negatives. He was SO kind, he brought a winter jacket, gloves, earmuffs, hand warmers and even borrowed me the scarf he was using at the moment. My trip to Thailand was cut short so I wasn't expecting to go to Korea, let alone have any plans of going on a tour, I didn't know anything about the country or it's culture. I got in the car and told him I like learning about other cultures, traditions, religions and animals, not a fan of just shopping or your usual tourist-y stuff... He took me to so many memorable places and he was so knowledgeable about his country that I saw, learned, and experienced more on my 10hrs there than my 4 days in Thailand. He is AMAZING, if you're second guessing yourself bc you're a solo traveler or bc of the price... DO NOT! You won't regret getting to know Korea through his love and appreciation for his country. Peter, if you're reading this, thank you for all the memories, photos, snacks, and shared knowledge. I will hold this experience close to my heart forever, you turned my trip around into such a fulfilling and meaningful experience! I guarantee you should I have another opportunity like this you will see me again. Till next time!💖
Alice was super communicative and made sure she had a good idea of what we wanted to see and then gave feedback on timing etc. Day of meet up went off without a hitch because of her clear instructions. She went above and beyond to make our time informative and productive. I would book with her again with no reservations.
I booked the tour about 5 hours before we arrived in Korea, and Alice was very friendly and accommodating in accepting our booking, despite it being made so late. She’s very kind and helpful. We are very fortunate to have Alice as our tour guide. Our 16-hour layover in Korea was enjoyable and exciting. Thank you, Alice!
I did a layover tour in Seoul, South Korea with Peter, and it was hands-down the best possible way to spend an eight-hour layover. Before I even landed, Peter reached out on WhatsApp to ask what I was interested in and sent over a thoughtful draft itinerary—complete with restaurant options for local food. I read through the reviews, picked a few, and he adjusted everything immediately. Super responsive, zero friction. He met me right at the airport, offered to carry my bag, and from the start it felt less like a “tour” and more like spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend. On the drive into the city, we talked about Korean history and daily life. He took me to an apartment complex to show how people in South Korea actually live, then—because I love food—we went to a grocery store. That was unexpectedly fun. Seeing familiar items packaged differently, and especially the cereal aisle compared to the U.S., was a highlight. We walked through a middle-class neighborhood, visited a traditional market, and then had an incredible lunch of chicken and ginseng soup at a very popular local spot. The food was excellent, and the conversation about Korean history during lunch made it even better. One of my favorite moments was visiting a pagoda along what’s known as the “Honeymoon Road”—an eight-kilometer stretch where, after the war, newlyweds would drive up, picnic, maybe share tea or a drink, and head home because travel wasn’t affordable. That kind of context made everything feel real and human. Timing at the palace was perfect—I arrived right at 2:00 pm and caught the changing of the guard from an ideal spot. Peter’s tour of the palace complex was full of insight, and it was especially nice to bypass the massive tour groups and just explore at a normal, relaxed pace. We finished in a shopping area where I tried traditional street food and picked up Korean beauty masks for a friend. Fun, easy, and exactly what I hoped for. I didn’t know much about South Korea before this visit, and I’m so glad I chose this tour instead of killing time in the airport. If you have a layover in Seoul, book Peter. You’ll leave feeling like you actually visited the country—not just passed through it. Since I was traveling solo, he took pictures of me at all the locations, which was really appreciated.
Alice is a wonderful host. Not only was she able to accommodate my last minute booking, she also picked me up early from the airport after my flight reached early in the morning. She is very knowledgeable about the area and was constantly explaining about Seoul, South Korea. She knew all the important spots and helped me tailor a perfect day as a first time visitor to Seoul. She was also using her tablet to explain about the palaces and Korean history. Apart from her background, she is a highly skilled driver and photographer. The car itself was very spacious and clean. I did not even have to store my carry on luggage at the airport. Would recommend Alice 100% if you’re looking for a private transit tour. I would be booking her again when I am back for another tour
I booked a tour on super short notice, tourn between going into Seoul on my own or with a guide I finally decided on the guide and it was the right choice. My guide Peter showed up with a smile on his face and ready to show me around and tell me all about the rich social and economic history of Seoul. He asked me what I wanted to see and made it happen. Not only did I get to see the city he explained parts of the city and the history behind it. He even thought me what the gangum style song was about! I got to see what life in Seoul is like for the average Korean and we spent time discussing the differences between life in south Korea and the US. Peter is so knowledgeable and a great story teller. From soldier soup to the history of chopsticks he had me invested in every word. He took me to the StarField library (where I got a picture with the gangum style hands) to the palace. He knew all the cool parts of the palace and every bit of history behind it. Pointing out tiny details I never would have noticed on my own. He even took me to see the old style houses where the kings advisers lived, to the home of a Doctor that was kidnapped during the Korean war. Then we stopped for some delicious street food (which you must eat every bite) This was by far the best layover I've ever had and I highly suggest if you have a layover in south Korea get a tour, it's beyond worth it.
Peter did an amazing job at making the most of my time. I got to see so much of Seoul with the little time I had!! I will definitely be contacting him the next time I visit!
This private layover tour was the best way to spend my time in Seoul! My guide made everything so easy from the airport pickup to drop-off, and I got to see so many highlights — from the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace and the lively Insadong shopping street to the stunning modern design at Dongdaemun Design Plaza. It felt like the perfect mix of culture, history, and architecture. I even had time to enjoy a delicious traditional Korean meal at a cozy local restaurant. The guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience relaxed and fun. If you have a long layover in Seoul, don’t waste it at the airport — book this tour! It’s the perfect way to experience the city’s best spots in just a few hours.
I had a layover in South Korea, so I decided to take a tour and my guide, Peter Park was 10/10! As I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do, so he had a complete agenda prepared for me- including options for meals. He knew so much history about South Korea and each sight that he showed me! I had a friend that was studying in Seoul and wasn’t sure if I would be able to meet up with her or not due to her schedule. In the middle of my tour, she contacted me and Peter adjusted the itinerary and we were able to pick up my friend go to lunch, go shopping and he showed us local markets. I got a feel for the day to day living with the locals. Peter Park was so kind and accommodating, his English was great and I would highly recommend him!!!
