Ecotourism and Adventure to Cascada La Plata e Ibagué

I loved hiking in La Plata Ecotouristic Park, I will look at nature, enjoy typical food, and relax at the waterfalls of Chicalá. Transport by jeep and truck was great fun. I recommend travelers bring good hiking shoes and water shoes.

I did this tour as part of my stay with language school Nueva Lengua. Our teachers Isaac and Juliana were our guides for the weekend and we had an amazing time! Especially the hike to La Casaca La Plata was amazing in terms of views. Within our group, the range of fysic conditions was large, but they dealt very responsible with it. Juliana kept an eye on those struggling more, while the others could continue on their own pace or follow Isaac. I think it was very nice to have two guides, also when taking taxis, so we would never be on our own in the taxi, but always with a local. Many thanks for this nice trip to both!

A place for disconnection, breathing clean air, with incredible landscapes that you can observe from different viewpoints, nature and beautiful waterfalls, seems straight out of an adventure story, the weather is very cool and getting to the place is very easy. The Guide is very friendly and answers all the doubts you have, is attentive and always pending the group and any requirements that arise. The owners of the place are very friendly and welcome you with lemonade, they have hammocks if you want to rest, lunch is very rich. I highly recommend this plan.

I recommend this walk to anyone with a minimum of fitness. Access to the waterfall is not the easiest, but the excursion is worth it. I recommend the guide, Isaac, who has many stories to tell and helps us in all situations.
