2005 Kalia Road, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96815, United States
View on Google MapsThis tour was absolutely outstanding and ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Oahu trip. We were the only ones who booked that day, so it turned into a private tour with Troy, the owner, which made the experience even more special. From the moment we started driving up Old Pali Road through the Nuuanu Valley rainforest, it felt like stepping into another world. The canopy forming a tunnel overhead was magical, and Troy shared fascinating stories and history along the way. The stop at Nu’uanu Pali Lookout was breathtaking — sweeping views across the windward side, from Kualoa Ranch and Chinaman’s Hat to Kaneohe Sandbar and Kailua. Troy took time to explain the historical significance and made sure we had plenty of opportunities for photos. The Likeke Falls hike was a perfect balance of easy and adventurous. Walking under the rainforest canopy with the sounds of birds and rushing water was incredible, and getting up close to the waterfall felt intimate and unspoiled. Troy pointed out native plants, kukui nuts and ginger, which added a great educational element. We made many stops since there were only the 2 of us and we got thru the hiking portion quicker than if it were a large group. We stopped at Makapu‘u Point, where the coastal views were stunning — lighthouse trail, Sealife Park, Makapu‘u Beach, and even whale-spotting potential since we were in the right season... but alas... they were too shy that day. Then on to the Halona Blowhole, with the potential for dramatic ocean spray if the waves were running the right direction (they weren't), views of Sandy Beach, and a look down at famous Eternity Beach. What truly sets this tour apart is Troy himself. He’s knowledgeable, passionate, relaxed, and genuinely loves sharing Hawaii. He never rushed us, tailored the pace to our interests, and made the whole day feel personal rather than scripted. If you’re looking for an authentic, scenic, and memorable way to experience Oahu beyond the typical tourist stops, book this tour.

Great mixture of hiking and going to multiple scenic ocean locations. The guide was very knowledgeable of sites and local vegetation.
This was a great tour, Troy had lots of knowledge and was a great guide. Highly recommend! We were able to view many different beautiful locations.

He is amazing! Really knows the area and loves nature! Will recommend this to anybody that wants to see something real while in Hawaii! Thank you for the amazing experience!
"Amazing Experience." We booked the Nature Hike to Waterfall and immediately received a confirmation text with our pick-up time and location. Troy, our tour guide, arrived right on time at the front of our hotel. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and treated us like family. We passed by Diamond Head and made stops at Makapu‘u Point, Halona Blowhole, and Nuuanu Pali, with plenty of time to enjoy each spot. We never felt rushed, took in the beautiful sights, and snapped amazing photos. From there, we drove up Old Pali Road through the lush Muuanu canopy and arrived at the starting point of our hike. We trekked through the Muuanu rainforest — the kind of place you only see in movies. Along the way, we tasted wild Hawaiian red ginger, tried rare rainforest nuts, and ended at one of the large Likeke waterfalls. " Breathtaking. " The trail wasn’t paved, but it was easy enough that kids could do it. Tip: wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. On the way back to the hotel, Troy suggested we try Asian Stix, Noodle Street — which I honestly believe had some of the best variety and flavor of Asian food we tasted during our trip. He even offered to drop us off there, which was the perfect way to end the day. Extraordinary experience — so glad we booked this adventure and that Troy was our guide. 5 stars. Highly recommended. Don’t hesitate — book it and enjoy!
Troy is an incredible tour guide! From the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off, we felt informed, entertained, and totally at ease—like we were spending the day with a good friend. As a single mom traveling with kids, I felt completely safe and taken care of the entire time. My kids especially loved his fun facts about Japanese culture and K-pop (they’re still talking about it 😆). Troy’s knowledge of the island’s geography and history is seriously impressive, and he made every stop feel meaningful. We saw some of the most breathtaking sights on O‘ahu, and I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.
Troy was GREAT! The tour totally blew our expectations out of the water. Our whole group agreed it was the highlight of our trip. Photos don't do the Lekiki Falls justice. Troy was such a a pleasure and such a genuine person. We can't recommend him enough! Thank You Troy!!
Believe all the reviews you read about Troy! He is a great guide, and it’s obvious he has a passion for what he does and for the area. He’s knowledgeable without being stuffy, and was able to adapt to what my family was looking for in our hike and tour around the island. It was an absolutely wonderful way to end our trip. Highly recommend!
