A great introduction to the city of Harbin- visiting the site of unit 731 a very tragic time in Chinese history. We learnt so much . The visit to St Sophia Cathedral was definitely a highlight both inside the church and out. Lunch at a well known Harbin restaurant and Samantha helped us with our food choices . The walking up Chinese St and the Zhongyang Pedestrian St were both a great way to get a feel for the city and we ended the day at Stalin Park with great views of the river . Samantha is truly a very knowledgeable guide and so easy to spend time with .
