View on Google Mapsluv walking tours ... our guide was fantastic great tour .... local football match that day so saturday afternoon in hannover was busy ... grabbed a beer out of a local bar window along the street and kept up with the group ..
The guide was amazing! Very nice tour and informative. I happen to be the only one who spoke English and she still translated everything! Although because of the dual language half the time your just not listening
Great!! Dedicated guide, made the whole tour in English and German. I recommend the experience to everyone who wants to know Hannover.

When booking it said it was in German and English, but it was not. The visit was in German and although the track made an effort I ended up translating with my phone.
Thank you to Thomas for a knowledgeable, humorous, and very interesting tour. Thomas spoke excellent English and took great trouble to explain things in German and English. I found the tour emotional at times. I leaned a lot about Hannover and I cannot wait to return to this resilient, historic city with such kind people.
The design of the tour is great! It covers most attractions at the city center. Our guide is very knowledgeable and fun as well. He brought us Leibniz biscuits to taste on the tour. However, the tour is conducted in German. The guide would catch up very briefly the content in English while walking towards the next atrraction. If I didn't use real-time Google translator, I would miss most of what he said.
Die sehenswürdige Stadt Hannover wurde hervorragend und megainteressant präsentiert. Wir haben sehr viel interessantes erfahren und gesehen, wir kommen gerne noch einmal nach Hannover um noch mehr zu sehen.
There is a Red Thread self led tour you can do by following the red line painted on the pavement starting from the Information Centre in the main square outside the Hauptbahnhof. You can buy a guide for the walk for €3.50 in the Info Centre. The walk is about 4kms long. It’s definitely the way to see Hanover if you’re fit and mobile. It visited all the areas we wanted to see, at our own pace.
