Christianity Day Tour: Haifa Port to Nazareth and Sea of Galilee

We had a super great tour with our guide! Not only was he super knowledgable, he was also charismatic, helped us fill in our own gaps in history, and also taught us a ton about differences between Judaism, Orthodox, and Catholic faiths. We brought a person (my grandma) who requires a scooter and cane, the tour was pretty accessible and he was accommodating. Some sites you cannot get into easily without at least a bit of mobility, however most sites we could get into with little issues. Would over all recommend this tour if you love history & having a great personal touch! Thanks Ilya!

This small private tour was set up by Ilya (just my wife and I went). Dr. Avner (PhD) was our tour guide. It was a fantastic experience. We were baptized (again) in the Jordan River. We were fortunate that there was a priest available from another tour, as many that are baptized here are done by themselves. After that, we went by the beautiful Sea of Galilee. My favorite site was Capernaum, exploring the ruins of the town that Jesus grew up in. The Church of Annunciation was also worth exploring. Dr. Avner is quite engaging and is a wonderful tour guide.

Iota Pevzner was great kept us on time and made sure we knew what everything was and the meaning of each thing! Took us to a great place to eat! Made sure we took our time and gave us time to take pictures.
