We booked this tour online following cancellation from another tour operator. We were a bit apprehensive about getting bumped again, however the pre tour communication was frequent and informative, pickup from hotel like clockwork, excellent limo bus with charging ports! The boat was beautiful and the service exceptional 👏 😍. You pay a little more for this cruise, however when you see some of the cheaper tour boats, you appreciate that you have great value for money. Had a great time. The 7hour tour was enough for us as we had explored Nihn Binh earlier. However if you've only got time for 1 tour, I would recommend the overnight experience for a bit more emmersion.

Absolutely brilliant tour. The host guide was one of the best for humour, knowledge, attention taking photos in prime locations of all the guests. Buffet on board was exceptional. One of very best tours we’ve experienced.

The cruise boat was very comfortable with indoor and outdoor spaces. Food and drinks served on board. Excellent crew and guide. Very interesting stops during the day. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the cruise and I was lucky to have perfect weather. I joined the cruise at Tuan Chau port. The boat left at 10:30 and returned at 17:30. When boarding you are shown to an allocated seat in the beautiful dining area where you are given a welcome drink. This is where you sit for the buffet lunch (11:30) and afternoon tea. I spent the rest of the time on the upper decks. The travel agent did not pass on my request for a vegetarian lunch, but when the staff noticed that I had only taken rice and vegetables from the buffet they asked if I was vegetarian and very shortly numerous vegetarian dishes arrived at the table. I was lucky because there were other vegetarians on the trip. There was plenty of food at the buffet and afternoon tea and items were replenished. Drinks, other than the welcome drink and afternoon tea, were extra and the cost was similar to an upmarket restaurant (48000 dong for Coca Cola). At the first stop, the cave, the guide spent some time outside the cave introducing Ha Long bay and we only went in after all the groups that arrived at a similar time, and were on a quicker schedule, had gone inside. This meant that for most of the time we were the only group in the cave. The other two stops were much more crowded, but still enjoyable. I didn’t feel rushed at any of the stops. The 7-hour day cruise from La Casta is more expensive than some other options but I was very happy with my choice.

The tour manager/guide on the boat was fabulous. He certainly added great value to the whole day. This was our second time going to the area, we had been to Lan Ha Bay the previous week. Both experiences were great with unique vistas. The vessel itself was clean and modern, and we were served an excellent seafood buffet. The various outings provided by the boat's programme were all top notch and enjoyable. La Casta provided us with a wonderful and memorable day. I highly recommend this company!
