The weather today was really nice, with warm sunshine at noon — a perfect day to enjoy the beautiful views of Hạ Long. I felt really good about this trip. Spending one day in Hạ Long, I got to see the amazing scenery and try some outdoor activities. The travel company was very thoughtful. They prepared drinking water on the bus, gave us hand towels when getting on the boat, and even provided towels for swimming. They also had hats and sunglasses if you asked for them. For me, that was more than enough. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m happy I chose this tour.

The trip to Ha Long was quite okay. The tour guide was friendly and enthusiastic — he picked me up right at my hotel door and walked me to the shuttle bus. This morning, he even introduced me to Vietnamese coffee and baguette at a rest stop. The coffee was amazing, full of that signature Vietnamese flavor! The bread was alright — I guess Hanoi probably has better ones, haha. Lunch was simple and not particularly impressive, but it was enough to fill me up. The weather has turned a bit chilly, so I wasn’t really in the mood for kayaking or taking a boat ride. Instead, I decided to just sit on the cruise and enjoy a refreshing coconut. Overall, it was a pleasant trip, and I believe my next journey to Ninh Binh will be just as wonderful!
I took a solo trip to Ha Long Bay and it turned out to be such a special experience. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning limestone mountains, and calm emerald water made it the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with myself. I enjoyed quiet moments on the boat, kayaking through hidden spots, and watching the sunset paint the whole bay in warm colors. Even traveling alone, I felt safe, welcomed, and completely at ease. If you’re looking for a refreshing solo escape, Ha Long Bay is truly worth it.
Our pickup in the morning was about 10 minutes later than the time the guide and I had agreed on. The team explained it was due to traffic and a few earlier passengers boarding behind schedule. I wasn’t thrilled at first, but I appreciated that both the guide and driver apologized and asked for my understanding. In the end, everyone still reached Tuan Chau Pier on time and we started our Ha Long adventure as planned. Once on the boat, the guide was enthusiastic—sharing stories about the landmarks and lightening the mood. My spirits quickly lifted. From the salty scent of the sea to the stunning limestone scenery, it turned into a wonderful day. Most of all, I was impressed by the warmth and helpfulness of the Vietnamese people. Despite the minor hiccup at the start, I had an excellent trip and would happily recommend this tour.
My trip to Ha Long was truly wonderful. The weather was perfect that day. In the afternoon, I sat on the deck watching the sunset — the breeze was cool, and the sunlight was gentle rather than harsh. I relaxed on a lounge chair, sipping a refreshing coconut, completely at peace. Before the tour, the guide called to confirm the pickup time and kindly reminded me to bring a jacket since the sea breeze could get chilly. Such thoughtfulness left a great impression on me. It was an unforgettable experience in Ha Long. My next destination will be Ninh Binh — I’ve already booked the tour and can’t wait to go. A small tip: choose a limousine bus for a smoother and more comfortable ride!
The weather was cool and pleasant — although there was no sunshine, I actually loved it that way. The climb up Ti Top Island was absolutely amazing, with stunning panoramic views from the top. The cave we visited was a bit dark, but that only added to its mysterious and fascinating atmosphere. Lunch on the cruise was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout the trip. In the afternoon, I really enjoyed relaxing on the sundeck, sipping a cocktail while watching the sunset over the bay — such a peaceful and unforgettable moment. My trip to Ha Long Bay was absolutely amazing! The weather was perfect — clear skies and calm waters. Our guide Tony was super friendly, enthusiastic, and shared many interesting stories about Vietnam. This was my first time visiting Vietnam, and I’m so glad I chose Ha Long. The scenery was stunning — limestone mountains, emerald water, and peaceful fishing villages. The Vietnamese food served on the boat was so delicious and full of unique flavors! Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely. The tour staff took great care of me and even recommended places to visit in Hanoi. My next stop will be Ninh Binh, and I can’t wait for it! I had a great day in Ha Long. The weather was perfect and the food was good. If you want more choices, I recommend the buffet. Our guide took good care of us the whole time. The only problem: I forgot my sunglasses, so the ride from Hanoi to Ha Long wasn’t very comfy. Luckily, the driver lent me a pair—such kind service! Overall, I’m happy with the trip and would go again.
