View on Google MapsThe trip was very well planned, but what made the whole experience really memorable was our guide, Linda, who was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. She was very informative and shared many interesting stories and history behind some of the happenings in New Zealand, and kept making sure that we were very well taken cared of during the trip. She lead the group at the various stops with good pace and made sure no one was left behind. She even went out of her way to help us contact the relevant parties and ensured that our next day's plans for the Tranz Alpine train was taken cared of, as our train was cancelled partially due to the weather conditions. Our entire group enjoyed the whole trip thoroughly and it wouldn't have been possible without Linda! Thank you so much for making this trip so enjoyable and we couldn't have asked for more!
My wife and I did this tour with Linda. She was very good in the van, providing commentary as we drove between the stops, very friendly and nice guide. The stops were fun and well worth the money. Our favorite was the stop at the pancake rocks, very pretty, lots of amazing natural features to gawk at, wow. Linda made a big impact on the quality of the tour, it wouldn't have been the same without her input.

Tour guide Helen knew the answers to my questions. She could name the trees, provide local knowledge, she drove safely, was friendly and personable. The tour included several bush walks, where she was considerate of a mixed physical ability amongst the group.
We saw many sights that show the variety of beautiful environments on the West Coast of South Island. Linda was a great guide to the geology, flora, fauna, history and culture of this area. She also pointed out additional trails, shops, sights and restaurants that we can visit on our own in coming days. Would highly recommend this tour.
Great way to see the west coast. The weather held up at each stop for us to explore. Having a small group really sped up our journey.
Bob was the best. So much knowledge and so many things to see. Totally worth it. We did the pancake rocks last, so ghta was definitely a highlight. Unfortunately the weather was not so great. But it made the rocks so much better.
