The Historic Welty House Ghost Hunt with Equipment

An amazing experience! Matt was an excellent guide - he did a great job of explaining all of the equipment, what to expect, the history of the place and people there - and was so informative, helpful, patient, and entertaining! It was my first time on a ghost hunt and it could not have been better. Cannot recommend the tour and Matt enough!

My girlfriend and I did the 9pm ghost tour in Gettysburg, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Our tour guide, Hannah, was incredible—extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and very down to earth. She made the history feel real while also creating a comfortable atmosphere to talk about the paranormal without it feeling forced or cheesy. We had multiple intense experiences throughout the night, especially in the basements, where the energy felt heavy and unmistakable. There were moments that genuinely caught us off guard, including encounters that felt darker and even borderline demonic. It was thrilling, eerie, and unforgettable. Everything about the tour exceeded our expectations—from the storytelling to the locations to the energy we felt firsthand. We loved every second of it and are already planning to come back, next time with our own ghost-hunting equipment. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a real, spine-chilling Gettysburg experience. 👻

That Matt guy was a character. I've been going to this place for years and he is by far the most enthusiastic tour guide I've ever had. You can tell this man not only believes in ghosts, but he truly has a connection with them.

Great investigation with lots of good equipment. We had quite a bit of activity really cooland fun. Matt was a great guide giving us much freedom

It was cool, it was a group experience which I hadn’t done and I found it a bit overstimulating with everyone asking questions at same time. I’m used to doing it in small group and asking my own questions. However there was lots of interaction which was very cool!

We arrived on time and met with Matthew. He was very polite and professional. First he showed: us the equipment that we would be using and then we walked over to Welty house( we actually went intothe gift store first) Anyway. We enter the cellar of Welty house where we learn the history and then to work trying to contact the spirits. We had a lot of activity and it was interesting. It’s a fun and unique night out. Would definitely do it again.

My son and I had a great time. Silver did a great job with the ghost hunt . She explained the equipment and how to use them. Silver knew the history of the places we explored. Would do it again.

Silver our guide was excellent, knowable about the towns history. We had a lot of communication with the spirits and she took notes then researched to see if any connections to the past.

So interesting and informative. The young lady guide, Abby was top notch. We didn't have loads of success, but enough to fascinate. I'm a history buff and am planning on reading up on the lives of the spirits she has contacted in the past. Especially James Wade who she felt was blocking our efforts, but I think he was communicating with us , if minimally. Again, Abby was fantastic! I will definitely take another tour. I'm sorry I can't take one right now as I leave Gettysburg today. But, I'll be back.
