The Demerara Sunset Tour was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. Watching the sun set over the river was breathtaking, and the whole experience was well organized and enjoyable. It was the perfect way to unwind and take in the natural beauty—highly recommended!
Very pleasant and helpful employees especially the Boat Captains. Beautiful evening views of the River and Birds. So many ships along the river bank. This is a must try experience to leave the Demerara River into the Atlantic Ocean

It was a fantastic experience overall. The Demerara River is beautiful and full of sights to explore and learn. Enrique, our pilot, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour to everyone interested in learning more about Guyana and seeing its impressive nature.
I'll admit that this review is a bit biased, as the coincidence of the century happened while I was on this tour: My fellow passenger turned out to be someone who WENT TO MY HIGH SCHOOL IN INDIANA. So my experience wound up being a bit of a class reunion. Although I highly doubt that you will reunite with any old classmates on this tour, you are still in for a wonderful experience. The sunset truly is spectacular, and the sights and wildlife you'll see along the way are too. Also, Blackwater Adventures takes you out on a small speedboat, unlike some of the other tours which use larger, slower watercrafts. In short, I highly recommend.
We had a great time with Blackwater Adventure on our trip. Dillon is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and waterways.
It was so amazing! So romantic! Me and my girlfriend had a great time and I will recommend it to so many others. The sunset was beautiful, and the best part was that my girlfriend proposed to me! I'm so happy! We're getting married very soon, around ten years because we want to come back here to get married but first we have to get the money, we spent all on this trip but is was worth it. I loved our tour guide he was so great he even told me he liked my girlfriends lipstick shade. I didn't even know that he was actually her ex from a while ago! But he was super nice about us getting engaged. He helped her figure out how to swim by pushing her off the boat. Thank you`!

My dad and I arrived to Georgetown a few days ago and wanted to see more of the city, so we decided to book a Demerara River tour with Blackwater Adventures. They were super responsive to all of my inquiries. Our tour guide, Enrique was incredible. He demonstrated a lot of knowledge about Georgetown and we had an incredible time with him while enjoying some amazing sights. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Angie (guide) and Krish (Captain) were brilliant. It was cloudy and didn’t see the sunset. But it’s still a 5 star tour. We had good fun cruising the river and getting to the ocean. Seeing the shoreline. Learning about the various industries and the bridges. We also snacked and drank rum and had a fun time. Rain or shine, definitely do this!
