View on Google MapsExcellent tour. Luis is an excellent guide, he accompanied us at all times and we took advantage of getting to know Noko Island in depth. It is also a plus to be able to talk more about Fukuoka. He also supported us with interactions with people on the tour. Most recommended!! 10/10
This was incredible tour, I would highly recommend it . Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We spent an incredible day on the island of nokonoshima with our guide, Luis, a very sparkling guide by his joie de vivre. Visiting the island, its flower garden, barbecue with sea views, flower ice cream, potter, traditional houses and yukata trials were magical moments with family and friends. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience during our tour of Nokonoshima Island. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. Being picked up directly from the hotel made things incredibly smooth and comfortable for our group of 20 people. The day was thoughtfully planned, with just the right balance of information and relaxation. We started with a clear and engaging explanation about Fukuoka’s layout, the island’s role in the area, and the history behind Nokonoshima Park. We even had the chance to meet the park’s owner and hear their personal story, which added a warm and human touch to the visit. The park itself was beautiful, offering a variety of activities and stunning seasonal scenery. The group services were excellent—everything flowed seamlessly, and we always felt well taken care of. To top it all off, the lunch was absolutely delicious, served in a peaceful and scenic setting. All in all, it was a rich, well-paced experience that felt both personal and professional. Highly recommended!
Beautiful houses of the edo era and a warm owner who was kind enough to enlighten us on Japanese customs and habits. Very good landscape ideas that create peaceful views and great beauty. My daughter loved the rabbit farm and especially the kimono fitting. Very good barbecue with attention to detail.. flowers on ice. Thank you to the team and our guide luis for the warm exchanges. Thanks to the ceramicists .. thanks to you I have great memories of Japan 👍.and everything happened in perfect condition😅
Exceptional!!! Luis our extraordinary guide to discover the wonders of this island. Listening to our desires, our requests, a lover of this island who knows so well to share his love for these magnificent landscapes, smells, and wonders for the view. A huge thank you for allowing us to discover this too. Not to be missed is really a wonder. Thank you again.... our footballer 😉😉😉
It was a very beautiful day. A nice bus picked us up from the hotel and we met Luis and the owner of the island's flower park. We were able to ask them many questions about the history of the island. The journeys are pleasant and the experiences within the park are authentic. It's easy to enjoy the different sea views, floral decorations and take beautiful pictures. The restaurant fills our stomachs and our eyes. It's a serene place.
Excellent tour with personal guide picking us up at the hotel, taking us to the ferry, personal pick up on the island to transport us up to the park w/guide escorting us all the way, fantastic lunch, then guided back to ferry and driven back to the hotel. Well worth the $$.
Excellent tour - one of the best I've been on! Guide Luis Matos, a New Yorker who has been living in Fukuoka for 34 years was great. Picked up right at our hotel by Luis and his wife, driven to the ferry that took us to Noko Island, then private pick up that took us up to the Park. Great lunch and tour. Included ferry ride back and then dropped off at our hotel. Travelers were Don Ching, Mindy Ching, & Marge Young - from Hawaii!
Don't miss the beauty of this island and its people! We were scheduled to go on the tour on a cold and rainy day. We hesitated a bit, but Luis, our guide, was up for it and so were we :). We are SO glad we went. The island visit is a great excursion if you want a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka. Plus, a special add was on the ride to the ferry, Luis gave us many tips and notables about Fukuoka city. As for the island ...the gardens, the people and the food were lovely. We even had chance to meet some of the family who owns the gardens which was special. We were able to hear about the rich heritage of the island, its development and the gardens. The Japanese BBQ Lunch was yummy and a neat experience - believe me, you won't go hungry. The food was plentiful and you'll get a nice array of meats, seafood and vegetables - something for everyone. The sun peaked out after lunch which was special. Luis, thank you for a great and memorable day!
